Could those who tested ATO spend to qualify for the bonus please report?

Re: Westpac Altitude 50,000 QFF points ($150 annual fee - waived for existing cus...

i'm quite new to the CC bonus game, but i could use the 50k points on offer here. at the moment i got $43,000 in combines credit limits spread across 4 cards. 2 of them i use, 2 of them of just signed up to for the bonuses in october and early september (still waiting for the points to come in so can't cancel). always pay the outstanding end of the month. with a 200k+ annual income, you think i'm quite safe to apply for this westpac card without risk being denied?

I have hit the required spent , anyone in here have received the bonus points how long they normally post after spent required met . 'Amex is instantly and NAB was like 10 days while ANZ have been 1-2 statement cycle .

Re: Westpac Altitude 50,000 QFF points ($150 annual fee - waived for existing custome

HI ALl

I have this westpac black card and have achieved the minimum spend and got the 50,000 points.
I just was thinking of now cancelling it, however I know that you get 2 passes to the qantas lounge if you purchase a qantas product..
I don't have any plans to fly in the next few months, but still wanted to get the passes, so was wondering if I purchase a qantas voucher, will this count as a "qantas product"

Has anyone successfully purchased a voucher and got the club passes...

Thanks...

Yes; there is no differentiation between a flight booking and a flight voucher.

Re: Westpac Altitude 50,000 QFF points ($150 annual fee - waived for existing custome

I got my bonus points on the second cycle.. I just logged onto Qantas FF site and they were there.
I also have the ANZ, and I am able to check the rewards points on there site, and notice I should get them when my account is due in a couple of weeks..

a voucher will work, however you do have to register for the offer first before you make a purchase at Qantas

Re: Westpac Altitude 50,000 QFF points ($150 annual fee - waived for existing custome

So a $50 voucher would qualify for the lounge passes?

Is there a cheaper option to qualify? :D

I haven't personally tried this on the Westpac Black as I went with the Altitude option, but a $50 voucher did trigger the passes on an Amex Qantas card to get the passes, there was some discussion at the time that maybe a seat selection payment would work too YMMV

Re: Westpac Altitude 50,000 QFF points ($150 annual fee - waived for existing custome

Bonus points delivered today - the same day I received my first statement! Mightily impressed with Westpac but this is no time to be sentimental. Now to cancel.

I am unlikely to pay for a Qantas flight any time soon so I'll forego the two lounge passes. Need to free up liabilities before making a move on the ANZ Black (75,000 QF points, $0 fee in first year) at the end of the month.

Re: Westpac Altitude 50,000 QFF points ($150 annual fee - waived for existing custome

Westpac on line has been off line for 3 days. As I walked past a branch today and saw staff there standing around doing nothing so I asked if they were finished being enhanced. ;) They are open till 5pm to help all the inconvenienced customers.

They absolutely assured me that they could get me the 50K QF and fee free year 1, with them applying for me on the spot as they "had the codes". Went ahead and have conditional approval for minimum 6K limit.

I will deposit $100 into an 'every day' account, which they opened. (My unused - opened for this purpose - Reward Saver would not qualify me).

As I have done 6 + applications this year I had the standard figures in mind: '1K a month household outgoings; 25K existing cards with 8K outstanding etc. ;)

Redeemed a jetstar flight for my parents (via qantas.com) and it triggered the qantas passes. May look to sell them.

I am told that only the Black card gets the 2 QF passes, not my platinum card.

Re: Westpac Altitude 50,000 QFF points ($150 annual fee - waived for existing custome

note they recently changed the promo and that the blue Altitude credit card does NOT qualify for the points any longer. my wife got her 50k points on the blue card but she had applied earlier on than me. now a westpac banker told me that my blue card doesn't qualify for the offer. however i applied on Sept 19th for the Altitude credit card and im pretty sure that 50k bonus points offer was still going for the Altitude credit card back then. does anyone still have the screen shot proving the blue Altitude credit card qualified for the offer and can they upload it for me? anyone successful in getting the bonus points on all 3 cards during this promo?

Re: Westpac Altitude 50,000 QFF points ($150 annual fee - waived for existing custome

i paid for some hotels about $46 on qantas.com but after $30 birthday discount voucher only paid $16 it didn't trigger the the passes on an Amex black Qantas card to get the passes. has anyone been successful in booking hotels via qantas and getting the passes on an Amex Qantas card ? maybe there is a minimum spend on a hotel booking?

Re: Westpac Altitude 50,000 QFF points ($150 annual fee - waived for existing custome

Result: 50K bonus in QF account 1 month from the actual application date. Applied 28 Nov in the branch. 51,278 pts into QF account 28 Dec.

To get 1 year free, branch advised to deposit $100 into savings account to qualify as existing customer. Req'd spend as soon as card arrived. Of the $2,600 spent, still have to wait for last 1400 points - interesting as the req'd spend was all on the same day. Will cancel once those in account. From the savings acct, I have withdrawn $90 leaving $10 in there just in case.
