What cheeses me off

I had 2 WCMO incidents today.
1. Numpty in front of me in left lane at roundabout refused to move despite 5-6 cars in the right lane going through.
2. At next traffic lights i got the red light so first in the left lane, fellow behind me pulls out into right lane. Has his phone out so I react quicker than him. He speeds up,is level with me and then realises he wants to turn left so starts to cross into me.

Both ended uo WALTIL moment. Hand on the horn until they well and truly respond.

Water as a sub? Free…
Nah. Boring and tasteless.

Ya think?
Cheeky but that doesn't help me.

Here are some sums not on the bottle of C-ke which CMO
1 litre = 110g sugar
X3 litres - 330g -about 1.5 cups
If that's in response to my statement I only ever have diet drinks. No coffee. No sugar. No dessert. Have cake occasionally.

And yes I do realise diet drinks come with their own issues but I love the fizzy feeling when I have a cold drink.

Buy a soda stream — as many bubbles as you like!

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but cannot find LA Ice Cola on Woolworths Online. Coles Online says currently unavailable.

It has already been withdrawn from many stores and now looks like it's gone from Coles Toowong too.

At $2.00 for 2L it's fantastic value. There's no way I'm spending $3.60 on Pepsi or $3.85 on Coke. Both Coles and Woolworths generic versions taste awful.

I drink up to 10 x 2L bottles a week. Off to Kirk's cans but I will miss Cola.

It has been enhanced away after being moved to the bottom shelf and then not selling, and then woolies/coles trying to screw the supplier over on price and then it goes away forever.....

20l of cola per week is not good, sugar free or not!

Yep, aspartame, a carcinogen. Good luck with that. As evil as highly refined sugar is, I'd take the sugar over aspartame any day!

I actually choose neither since I don't drink any soft drinks other than water. (Let's not get into the alcohol question though 🤣 )

I did Google it but nothing came up.

Yep, aspartame, a carcinogen. Good luck with that.

A possible carcinogen Several categories .. known, probably, possibly, not classifiable (nb: red meat and drinking hot beverages >65C are probable carcinogens). Aspartame is not even in LA Ice no-sugar and none of the ingredients are listed as known, probable or possible carcinogens.

Not that drinking 3 litres a day of any substance (perhaps other than water), is going to be good for you. Dose makes the poison.

How do you do that 'stacked quote' thing, CE?

You can stack quotes by toggling the editor to show the 'tags'.

Select a couple of quotes as usual by clicking on the '+Quote' button. and insert them into your Post as normal.
quote01.png

Click on the '[]' icon (Toggle BB Code) up on the top right, and it changes so you can see the 'tags' in the post.
quote02.png

Move the first of the tags from in the middle, to after the second quote. The second quote now sits inside the first quote.
quote03.png

Click on the Preview button on the top right, to see what it now looks like. If you want to make changes, go back to the BB Code by clicking on the 'Preview' button again to switch back.
quote04.png

Click on the 'Post Reply' button as normal to put your Post up if you want. You can 'stack' as many quotes as you want. Sometimes it can go a bit wrong and it adds in some funny Quote tags. Just edit the post to tidy them up, and save it again.

Getting close to a dangerous level of caffeine. Headaches, irritability, anxiety, reduced efficacy of antibiotics.
Not a problem at all.
Dangerous? I'm not sure about LA Ice but Diet Coke has ~46mg of caffeine per 330mL or ~280mg caffeine per 2L. A healthy adult can consume ~400mg caffeine per day without issues?

The rest including carcinogens are possible side effects.

So 3 litres a day which you are drinking is 420 mg of caffeine so very likely to be causing symptoms and yes can be dangerous.

What symptoms?

Headaches are tension headaches. Chronic health issues, money issues and being surrounded by incompetent people are the cause of my headaches.

Anxiety has been there since 10-12 years old.

I sleep OK. I am naturally a night person and used to sleep 4:00am-5:00am because that's when I want to sleep. Now I sleep earlier. I don't suffer from insomnia. When I sleep, I sleep. Note I can sleep anytime, anywhere.

Efficacy of antibiotics. Try immune system issues well before I was drinking cola.

So what else should I worry about?

I'll now drink more Kirk's no sugar drinks. Pasito, Lemon Squash, Orange, Creaming Soda, Lemonade. That's a good variety and should keep me happy.

Too much red meat? Old wives tale. No such thing as too much red meat.

What else?
