What cheeses me off

The apps are listed in order of data consumed over mobile network, and then in alphabetical order for apps you have not used over mobile netwok (i.e. zero data). If you don't mind losing your statistics*, just scroll to the bottom of the mobile data screen and press "Reset Statistics", The apps will now be listed in alphabetical order.

* call time in current period, and mobile data in current period & current period roaming + the amount of mobile data each app has used since last reset
I'll try that! Thanks.

Building companies that take your deposit but don't bother to purchase the required insurance. Goodbye money!
Oh no. I read that and hoped you weren't impacted. Hope they go to jail. That's, well, I can't think of a strong enough word. I'm so sorry.

The problem with building companies failing is ASIC takes too long to check if a company has traded whilst insolvent so directors have time to escape being personally liable by no longer being found or they have shuffled their assets out of harms way.
Being an unsecured creditor of a failed building company is not a great position.
Yes there should have been insurance.

Directors
And it really cheeses me off because the Building industry have something called Long Service Leave Levy in NSW (at least). That means 0.25% of the value of a DA above $250k gets put into this pot, to fund long service leave for anyone in the Building and Construction industry - including Directors of building companies.
In 2021 total construction was approx 150,000,000,000 in Australia. I'll let you work out out the amount of money in long service levy in NSW.

ASIC is rubbish. All they do when they feel the need, is to harass small business owners to pay their annual fee. For which they do nothing.

Trying to book Airasia DMK-CNX for Saturday and cannot get booking to go through. Payment rejected please try another payment method. Finally got one to work and the itinerary page loads.

Check email and I now have 3 bookings on same flight. I know it's a LCC but for crying out loud the experience just gets worse each time.

Now for the fun of trying 2 get redund for 2 bookings. I wonder if their system is smart enough to pick up the same person sitting in 31D, 32D, 33D. Probably not.

An iPhone that when you type in the address for the login page for a cruise ship's wi fi comes up with a message - can't log in to that page as you are not connected to the internet. Occurs 2 of every 3 attempts.

My car dashcam has wifi for easy access/download to videos. When iphone is connected to the camera wifi I get a warning to say the wifi isn't connect to the internet, and the iphone refuses to do anything sensible in accessing the camera data. This started happening after an update...

The IPhone. It doesn’t list Apps on phone in alphabetical order so you have to remember what the icon looks like. I reckon each time it’s a multiple scroll through to find the right one.

Edit - this isn't just to find the app, but in the mobile data settings where you turn mobile data on or off.

Then, similar to what others have said, it's probably easiest to pull down in the settings app to reveal the search bar, and then just start typing the app you're looking for.

But that doesn't allow you to turn on mobile data for that app. The message when trying to access that app if mobile data has been turned off for it, just pings you to the mobile data settings list which is where all the apps are presented, not just the one you want to turn on.
You need to pull down in the settings app to get the search bar, search for the app and that takes you straight to the relevant setting.
When you get the mobile data warning, use the go to settings, if that takes you to the mobile data page go back to the main settings page, then do the search

I've done what @dajop suggested and reset mobile data statistics. Then they line up in alpha order in the mobile data area.

And yes, your suggestion works too once I figured it out. Thankyou.

yes so does mine. The camera can connect to a wifi hotspot and The phone can connect to the camera Wifi hotspot. You need to disconnect the phone from the camera so phone can access the internet. You can’t have both at the same time.

European cars have their own hotspot these days do you can connect the camera to the car hotspot then use your phone to connect to the internet then the camera. Very unfortunately, many Australian importers are too stingy to provide the car with an internet capable SIM card.

^ If only you could’ve booked 31D, 31E, 31F … and gotten the refunds too late for them to plonk someone in E & F. :)
Apparently my issue is quite common. They only refund second and third bookings on same flight.

Having to encounters Karen on way home and giving in to said Karen.

There is a one lane wooden bridge on way home. Obviously give way to traffic already on bridge and take turns

I'm almost crossed over when said Karen decides she had right of way and blocks me.

Eventually I reversed all the way over the bridge so said Karen gets her way...

Why?

So? Karens loose.
Reasonableness always lose to Karens.
I did wait in the car until cars started piling up which didn't take long. The main reason for that was for everyone to immediately know who was in the right and who was the Karen. This point was augmented when I reversed over the entire bridge in full view of everyone. Even after that said Karen would cross over, stop her car and continue haranguing. No doubt then who was the unhinged👍
