What cheeses me off

I reported fraud on 28 Degrees card on 09/Sep and today 18/Sep still no replacement.

I struggle to understand why no urgency? It's not like they are struggling to make a profit....

Did you put a lock on your card via the app? That should have prevented the 2nd fraudulent transaction.

There is no second fraudulent transaction. Waiting for replacement card. Waiting to make a few foreign currency purchases.
Ah, sorry misread that as a second transaction on the 18th (yesterday)! Which seemed odd that it was still active given that they can be quick to lock your card when they suspect a dodgy transaction even if it’s not…

WCMO is this trend of making furniture really low to the ground.

Nothing worse than sitting on a lounge and your knees are higher than your hips, so hard to return to standing.

Looking for bedside tables atm and I have an ensemble bed on legs (so now low to ground like all these horrible slat beds) and trying to find attractive option that it at least 70cms tall so is practical to roll-over and hit snooze is very limited.

Buy bed head and foot with side rails to go around the mattress ensemble.

We are currently experiencing higher than usual call volumes....

Oh FFS put on more staff. It's not good enough to use that excuse. This push to streamline everything to increase profits is ridiculous.

Especially when they have used that excuse every time you have called in the last few years.

What's even more ridiculous is getting that message every time you call and then within 1-2seconds transfers straight to an operator - so the message is default cough.

So it would appear that Latitude has sent my 28 Degrees card to Sydney.

I've got residential address Toowong and postal address Sydney and I told the person to send to send Toowong. Yep it will be sent to Toowong. They've obviously not bothered to override anything.

IME card will be sent to the postal address; and typically the interface to the printing/postal partner doesn't allow for overrides (companies don't print statements themselves they typically partner with someone like Salmat).

If you wanted it to go to your residential address it would have been simpler to temporarily change your postal address online and then change it back after you received the card.

When your online order arrives with a security tag attached. Even worse, I was at that particular store this morning and have no desire to trek all the way back.
Or you get home, a week later do the washing, and find a new pair of jeans has a security tag attached! Didn't beep when we left the store, nor when I took it back to get it removed.

The sales assistant helping us that afternoon seriously needed some coffee, sugar, a nap, or all three!

Was in Japan at Easter and were served by a Japanese assistant who was so not wanting to be there, it stood out as most Japanese sales people have a certain manner, it was such a shock.

So they sent it to “Toowong” the first time and it went to the wrong place. If they send it again to Toowong, then they’re clearly hoping to debunk the mantra that “Too-wongs don’t make it right”. 😜
