Yes Sirromet is excellent. We used to go there on Easter Monday to eat Easter bunnies (rabbits) in a lovely white wine sauce, but the don’t do that anymore.Looks ok ..... as I said on the other thread .. more misses than hits for us.. c'est la vie
OT .. but after two recent visits to the Tuscan terrace at Sirromet, Mt Cotton.. we are out.. done and dusted….
Need a drool buttonKaroomba restaurant, winery and lavender farm, Mt Alford
Ah yes. I thought you meant Lurleens! Ok! Noted. La Lupa on Montague road is getting good reports. You misread my post… we will not be back to Sirromet….
It's just nearby and we have made a fair contribution to their profits over the years.
Once Andrew Mirosch moved on .. so did the vibe and Lurleens fell in a heap.
Post covid , Lurleens remains closed and they have "reimagined" (sic) the Tuscan terrace as a la carte.
Fabulous atmosphere , attempted 1* service but a truly magnificent fail with actually preparing and serving food.
We gave then two attempts for old times sake….you may attend and be lucky but I have used all my chances
Another restaurant with a great vibe , Coopers on the waterfront at Manly failed dismally a week ago for a group lunch.
The fish restaurant on the corner of Cambridge Parade , endless owners , now called sea vibe was quite dreadful on a week night.
I could go on.. but it's all a bit depressing….
