Had the Red Velvet Latte and Ricotta Pancakes!

Loved the pancakes - very nice, not overly sweet and very very filling. I woke up craving for something sweet and the pancakes hit the spot.

The Red Velvet Latte was good. Will I have it again, may be can’t say a resounding yes. May be it’s just my palette.

The special curry in the centre of that last photo was particularly good.
Now Mrsdrron's western meal. An octopus salad with caviar and a perfectly done medium rare steak.

A new restaurant for us on the Coast today. Bottarga, Maroochydore. Same owner as Periwinkle at Peregian which we like. This one however is Italian. 5 is shared their focaccia with garlic and olive oil to start and then mains.
Mrsdrron and I had the Cappellacci stuffed with beef rib and porcini with a shaved duck foie gras and truffle sauce.
