Some impressive lounge offerings in Glasgow at the Hilton. Also had Caesar Salad, mini fish and chips, chicken liver pâté. Desserts too. Sure beats a standard charcuterie type buffet.

Main, duck breast with crispy skin was lovely. I was sad there was no pork on the menu but this made up for it

Hubby couldn't decide between dark chocolate and burnt orange mousse or raspberry and pistachio white choc mousse so he got both

Sydney seafood markets for lunch and The Boatshed, hubby went with the sashimi platter and octopus and the prawn linguini for me as I wasn't impressed with the fish and chips last time we were here but the maître d here is so incredibly friendly and nice.

Mine was theShimadzu Sakurajima udon. Slurped down with the best of them.

Lunch at the Norfolk Hotel in Fremantle today. We had the "Smoker + BBQ Board" and the "All the sides" to share. There were five of us and my son asked how big the 'board' was and was told it was for two people. So he ordered a pizza as well. This was definitely too much food as there was a ton of meat on the board. It was all very nice and 'fall-apart'.

My husband found the Nutella breakfast bar at our hotel this morning. Aka, What I ate today...... diabetes. There's also options like strawberry and maple syrup, melted choc and lollies to decorate

Today was a lunch seminar at Madame Wu on Eagle Street, Brisbane:

Always well looked after with off-menu items by Anne and the breakfast crew at the Cairns Hilton.


And the kitchen happy to make and customise a tropical chicken burger for me well outside regular dining hours.
