Borrowed pilot nephew for Mother's Day dinner as Flyfrequently offspring were busy surfing and running off to the circus (Cirque de Soliel!)

J meal on China Airlines yesterday. I had pre-ordered the butter chicken. All very nice except for some poor garlic bread





The canapes looked and tasted so nice that I had scoffed the first two before remembering to take a photo.

Scallop pies from an Autumn pie trail festival in New Norfolk, Tas a few weeks back. Love the map crust. Pie was tasty but quite stingy on the scallops.

So glad Surfer Flyfrequently lives around the corner - she did a quick dash to the local Chinese Cafe for some Wonton Soup - all I feel like after testing +ve this morning.

Terroir in Auburn is sadly closing down so went up for a farewell dinner. Food and service was excellent as always

They replaced chicken for me instead of the mullet.
