Always important to share moments with ones parents particularly when they are aged - we never know when will be the last time

Had an amazing five course tasting menu at Pa'akai on the North Shore of Oahu. Each course was matched with a wine, including a Hawaiian sparkling rose which we really enjoyed.

Lunch at a local restaurant - Sarawak Hawker (we've been to Sarawak itself twice - lovely food and slightly different to peninsular Malaysian food)

Buttermilk Chicken Rice - with Kopi C

We went to Bistro des Artistes in Rokeby Road Subiaco last night and three of us had the beef cheeks. Dream about a melt in your mouth dish as I don't bother with photos. The pigs trotter entree was really good too.

The Miles from Nowhere Cabinet Merlot was a suitable pairing for the French style beef cheeks.

Ribs and Rumps and husband plate, -their version of Surf and turf.

Mine was simple pork ribs, very yummy!

Another try at gluten free pizza, though went with a tried and true classic Margherita this time

Companions were unimpressed. They ordered a gluten one shortly after.
