What I ate today - the food thread

Outstanding meal at Chin Chin in Sydney.
- egg noodles with prawn, bug tail, garlic chives and hellfire chilli sauce
- chargrill beef brisket with sweet soy glaze, eaten in cos lettuce with shiso, with a chilli vinegar. This was amazing!
- caramelised sticky pork salad with sour herbs and chilli vinegar
- coconut sago with pineapple granita and lime curd.

Highly recommend it.

This sign made me laugh on my way to an appointment yesterday (after just finishing a steak and red wine meal). I told them that they could insert “tea” tomorrow for all us non-coffee drinkers

my gosh @Steady I've been meaning to buy a webber for as long as I can remember and after that pulled pork and chicken you've recently done I now NEED one. Absolutely salivating.

The Sebel Auckland Manukau recently opened it's doors, food quite good considering the restaurant/bar is quite small (hotel is apartment style, rooms have cooktop, pots and pans, etc).
