When I take my car in for service, my Subaru dealership gives me a voucher for nearby Black Gold Espresso at Roseberry, which is why hubby always comes with me when I get my car serviced.

Breakfast :)

P1060607.jpgShared Seafood Chowder (clams, mussels, shrimp, samon & halibut) and Halibut (caught a couple of hours previously) at Blue Mussel Cafe at North Rustico Harbour Prince Edward Island Canada.

PEI on my bucket list

Went to Level33 in Singapore with some work colleagues last night to check out the view from the 33rd floor of the Marina Bay Financial Centre. You get an incredible view of the bay area.
I had the Beef and Reef which was an Australian rump medium rare with a nice lobster tail decorated with a single deep fried onion, sautéed french onion shallot, smoked potato and red wine jus.
It was deceptively filling.
(Thicker cuts come out a bit under from what you've ordered so if you want it medium, say you want it done well done)

MrsGM and I had a lunch date on my day off with bub in daycare. We needed a little us time. Nothing fancy just a trip to Varsity Bar for some American style treats. She had the double cheeseburger and a peanut butter choc milkshake. I had the foot long Vienna dog topped with pulled pork and onion with cheese whip, and a strawberry cheesecake milkshake. We also shared onion rings.

Apache in Wellington, really really good. Would be happy to go back tonight to try something else... Or to eat this again
