What I ate today - the food thread

My husband's Wellington On The Plate burger Odyssey continues, today it's Beach Babylon and their burger

This may have been the best so far

I had the Pulled Pork Quesadilla and it was really nice

Went little Modiva last night..... Expensive, salty, ordered tapas and not coming out together. They could not get 2 desserts out at same time? Wanted 1% for credit card payment!
Busy place, was like master chef presentation of food that tasted good but left feeling still hungry.

Incredible 8 course dinner with matching wines at Ezard on Flinders Lane last night.

I like the thinner slices of swordfish as it's quite a meaty fish. The fried onions tasted like banana

The meal at Ezard looks amazing.

I had a good meal the other night at Norsk Dor in Sydney. Different concept in that you get 6 snack/ starters, then choose your main and then only dessert is a Swedish chocolate cake.

Father's Office smashed that one last night. All drinks came out except mine, starter and mains arrived at the same time (and before my drink!), bill was well overcharged, and they want 3% for Amex.

We finally hit Bar Luca after months of talking about it to see what the fuss was about.

I got the vegetarian kumara burger while companions got the chicken karage and the special (some hard to pronounce name, it had rainbow bun and Nerds in the cheese). I don't recommend getting the gluten free bun (super dry and tastes like cardboard). Apparently the Blame Canada is one of their signatures and I don't know how authentic their poutine is. ;)

There's a Willy Wonka special going on and we had fun trying the novelty candy milkshakes.
