Bowl of greens with broccoli, kale, celery, pickled onions, toasted macadamias and grilled haloumi - plus sides of smoked salmon, hash browns prosciutto di San Daniele and jamon Iberico.

Nice views - if you keep your eyes above the docks.

Pre dinner snacks last weekend with friends from our street

Missed taking photos of dinner as I was the BBQ chef. Arrived at table after turning off and cleaning up to find the platter of sausages and lamb steaks GONE. (Funny lot had hidden mine and left the empty platter) :o

One of their famous apple, raspberry and rhubarb crumble with ice cream (ended up going through 2 litres with 6 adults and 7 kids)

Then we had post-dessert desserts - yummy (used yogurt as the filler)

Two meals out today! This was a silky and beautiful peach creme brûlée - chef is ex Aria.

Earlier today it was master stock braised pork belly with chilli caramel at China Lane.

I can plan anything financially - like my retirement in 10 years ago so I can go to AKL and visit my friends over there more often and eat at places like that @Rugby ...
