This was lunch on Thursday, courtesy of a supplier, at the Victoria Park GC (well in the meeting rooms not on the course unfortunately). Beautiful entree and mains - no room for dessert

Cheese ravioli. WOW - just a superb lemon-based sauce that I wanted to consume more but hard with no spoons on the table. In hindsight, would have rather had this as a main....with a spoon

Yep. I think I paid 8 euro for a wonderful hot chocolate across the road from Notre Dame but its been 5yrs and I still think about that hot chocolate... it was wonderful!

I paid a similar amount for a Hot Chocolate in Stockholm and still dream about it
 
Can't wait to return to rural France and experience the delights of the food and good wine, at less than €2.00 per glass.
