What the best seat(s) to choose in First class on A380?

Will stick to the A side but stay away from 1 in the future.

So my MEL-SIN upgrade came through.....

Options are 2A, 5A or 5K ( or 2F they tried to put me in).

I have picked 2A based on comments here.

2A would be a good seat. I prefer the A side due to less foot traffic, found 5A a little noisy due to the galley. 1A is perfect, 2A will be fab, enjoy

I sat in 2A when flying LAX-SYD recently, loved it. You've got a great seat and enjoy the ride.

1A (not by choice) and 3A (by choice) a couple of times for me. Chosen primarily for the reasons PF mentioned above, F and K seats both empty into the RH aisle, whereas only A seats empty into LH aisle. If K > F > A can see each other a little better/more in that order not really a bother to me, I don't plan on doing anything controversial.

I did my first F last week. Chose 1A for the fact I now have an A380 F boarding pass that says 1A on it. All seats looked pretty good and similar - A and K over F though because of windows.

Started well.

Went for 3 entries for lunch:
Warm Duck
Sashimi
Salt and Pepper Squid

Also had a facial in the spa (as all the massage rooms were booked.....quite relaxing......I can see why the girls do it....)

Are you using the iPad app or the website? If from the App click on "Open Advanced Options" just above the keyboard when you go to type a response.

You wont be able to do it from the website on the iPad.

Flight very pleasant.

2000 Tatt on arrival

Went the tasting menu with Matching wines.

Best wine on menu was 2003 Yering No1

Got about 2 hours sleep at the end after all that wine.....

Did not make up bed, but seat (fully flat) very comfortable as was......much better than J seat.

Wish I had been continuing to LHR.

Like the brown PJ's.....very retro look!

Off to LAX from MEL on QF 93 next week

Current have me and +1 in 2K and 2F

What do AFFers prefer as a couple?

Row 3 and 4 are free in K&F so maybe we set up beds in one area and dine in another

Where is best to spend the awake time?

We recently did 4A and 5A on the QF A380. Probably 3A and 4A or 3K and 4K would be pretty good.

QF A380 F Class, Which seats for a couple?

Been off the grog for a month.Lost 5 kg and Resting heart rate 47.
It's 1st drinks in F Lounge to start on 12/12/12 (good fate that one). Will be lucky to find the air bridge. Let alone the seat! After a few hours in the lounge

I would go for two on the A side or......second preference two on the K side.

As they all say - no bad seat in F.
