Re: QF A380 F Class, Which seats for a couple?

Having completed the journey, would recommend 3&4K

You can chat with each other behind the screen and if there are enough beds then have them make beds for you in say 3&4F.

Happy trip :)

Re: QF A380 F Class, Which seats for a couple?

I'm in the same dilemma so I took 4 and 5a, fingers crossed!

Re: QF A380 F Class, Which seats for a couple?

5A may be one to avoid if you have a new configuration.

Yep, I'll now try and be on the K side rather than A, I used to spend 1/2 the flight behind 5A in the galley chatting and relaxing/stretching

Re: QF A380 F Class, Which seats for a couple?

Agree with Galley noise on a fuller F flight.

Stay in rows 2-4

Sipping on Champs in downtown Havana Cuba

About as far from Sydney as you get

One of the worlds great palces!!

Re: QF A380 F Class, Which seats for a couple?

2A and 3A are our preferred but then we don't really socialise in flight.....

Re: QF A380 F Class, Which seats for a couple?

Completely agree. 2A and 3A are the way to go. Nice amount of privacy when the dividers go up shortly after takeoff.

Re: QF A380 - Favourite F Seat

There's been a few of these threads and the general consensus is on the A side for singles because there are fewer people using that aisle.

But, as is also noted there are no bad seats in the A380 F cabin.

Re: QF A380 - Favourite F Seat

Best/favourite seat in F and why?

only been in F once but had a good look around, I was in 2K and SWMBO in 2F, I would pick 2K or 3K. nobody looking into your space and not much foot traffic. Very comfortable seats.

Re: QF A380 - Favourite F Seat

Only been In F once, so 3K it is for me

Re: QF A380 - Favourite F Seat

2a or 3a. Too much noise further back with the galley preparing my 7 course degustation menu, and 1a seems a little too claustrophobic (although more privacy). A aisle due to less foot traffic (Other aisle is shared between 10 suites in D and K aisles).

Re: QF A380 - Favourite F Seat

we travel as a couple and try and get 2A and 3A. I don't like 1A as the cupboard is next to it and you have clumsy people like me deciding to get their clothes out while people are still sleeping..... I prefer the A side as only A seats exit into that aisle - the other aisle seems more crowded. However all the seats are good and F in the A380 is great. Obviously closer to the front means slightly quicker service, so 1-3 better than 4 or 5. However when drinking bubbly and deciding which movie to watch a few minutes delay is not an issue.

Re: QF A380 - Favourite F Seat

So far for me 1A twice, 1K once, 3A twice, 5A once, 2F once, 4K once, 3K four times, 2K three times.

I'm happy to encourage peeps to go for A seats. ;)

5A never again! Way too much noise.

Re: QF A380 - Favourite F Seat

Anything in rows 2-4; A's preferred. Would grudgingly accept row 1 or 5 if forced to upgrade from J or Y.

Re: QF A380 - Favourite F Seat

I would be excited to have any of them. Bucket list for me I think.

Re: QF A380 - Favourite F Seat

So the general theme seems to be the A seats are better than the F & K from a traffic point of view. Why is row 1 not as preferable as 2 or 3? Someone mentioned additional privacy in row 1. How do the seats differ from other rows?

Re: QF A380 - Favourite F Seat

Been in 1A once (points upgrade, plane chockers, no choice) and was perfectly happy. 3A twice (by choice) and that's what I'd go for again. Some say the K side is more private.
