What's your prediction on the Australian Dollar?

I will be back in Australia tomorrow.

And as usual I exchanged most of my cash early in the trip with the increase happening the last few days. Expect the AUD to surge until mid February when I return overseas again.

Lol, happens more often than not. And if you think ahead to lock in an exchange rate, almost guaranteed to cause a run-away surge in AUD.
 
Aussie Dollar back up slightly today, however analyst still bearish on the Aussie but even bearish on the Euro.

The Australian dollar is well placed to outperform the euro in 2014 in spite of expectations the local currency will slide against the United States dollar as experts take a dim view of the outlook for growth in the European Union.
 
I used Australian Expedia as it was a better cost than US Expedia on the foreign exchange rates for a hotel and flights package.
I still think .895 is a pretty good rate.

The Aussie dollar should trade over a large range in 2014 as it is a market of buyers and sellers. I just hope the Kiwi dollar doesn't run the Aussie dollar over in 2014.
If it does I guess we could merge our currencies.
 
Oh and That Soros story is Scary Especially as not long ago they were saying the Chinese had no Debts.
 
Yes even though one Mr GS with the support of the Lib/Nats post their election win just cannot get that pesky AU$ to nosedive despite their efforts.

And now the RBA are confronted with the ever increasing upward pressures in the housing market which will certainly see next interest rate movements heading north - those farming lobbyists are going to be so disappointed.
 
I bought at .9026 to see it rise to.9080 before falling to .8950.
It is all over the shop but I wanted to be ready for Los Angeles and Salt Lake City for a bit of work in ten days time.
