Got a pair of Shanghia Tang from CX very very nice. As for the Floor in the Head. You should have been in the Navy. Nothing but nothing would shock you.

Actually some female toilets might do that. :(

Love Shanghai Tang garments but very expensive.

EY has PJ's & slippers in F, but neither in J.

Like any good aussie, I always carry on a pair of thongs. I have rather large feet so Hotel slippers often are a bit small.

This is cheaper and does not require any shipping.

It does not even require an order.

It is supplied every day at your hotel.

You can always leave it behind upon disembarkation.

I use these at home. Good on carpet and on tiles. Every so often (like three or so weeks) when I travel I chuck them in the bin and open out new pair.

I have never found slippers which fit my big feet. Never!

I have a similar problem.
The only hotel I've been to that was able to provide reasonable size sleepers for me (I'm size 11) was The Star in SYD.

Another Q:

Daytime medium haul flight (SIN/BKK/HKG) etc. ......

What's the etiquette of PJ there to make you more comfortable sitting / reclining while not sleeping ?

Weirdo or so-so ??

Have anyone done that ?

8-9 hrs in shorts / pants / jeans are less comfy than in PJs.

Cheers

It's not common to see pax wearing PJ on day flights. It's also not common to wear QF PJ on other carriers but I still do it.
My view is, if it makes you feel more comfortable and you can be bothered changing, just do it! You are not offending anyone by wearing an airline PJ on a plane.

Particularly if the other carrier does not hand out PJs, its a good reminder to them they should..........

I usually wear the top on a day flight (for true international only) where I'm in jeans regardless of carrier.
This way it preserves my shirt for on-ground and also ensure if I spill something it doesn't matter.
I also tend to find it stops me rubbing in the body grease into the shirts neck etc.

perfectly acceptable to wear PJs on a day flight!

why wouldn't it be? :)

the beds are there for sleeping.

on most of my day flights in F to HKG pretty much everyone is changed after take off. and many in the cabin will also have a snooze. it saves your clothes and no one really wants to be sleeping/relaxing in street wear.

not only that... but if you're a messy eater it saves any mucking around with food stains on clothes.

at the end of the day, no one else cares if you change or not. it's all about your personal comfort.

And let's face it, you are never going to see those people again. Although Murphy's law and all that....

I'm not a PJ wearer during day flights, but definitely not 'weird' for anyone who might choose to do so.

But depending on what time I arrive, and what I'm doing then (eg meeting clients or just crashing at hotel), I'll take a clean shirt to put on just before we land.

I have worn QF F PJs on a SA J flight to AUS.

I probably received some funny looks but my comfort on the overnight flight out weighed my embarrassment. And I did sleep very well.

I've worn my QF F PJs on SA flights PER-JNB-PER. Did notice someone else doing exactly the same.

I'm surprised that CX doesn't offer PJs in J - especially on the long flights like 15.5 h ORD-HKG, but I always carry a set of QF F PJs in my carry-on and have no hesitation in using them on other carriers.

I opened two of the MH PJs. They look simple and feel comfortable. No logo. Will use these at home or as when travelling. Still prefer my track pants and Ts for airplane.
