Hey thought I'd ask here. During DSC do reward flights booked with PC+ also get DSC?
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
For a change, the king of verbosity has nothing to say.Well, @RichardMEL - what do you have to say for yourself?? Hmmm???
They won't care. The thing is that QF has created the expectation of doing an annual DSC, so if they don’t do one some simply won’t book some trips with them that they otherwise would have.
What about Flex fares that are 3% discounted on account of being a QBR level 1 member? Do they earn DSC if booked in the booking window?Hey thought I'd ask here. During DSC do reward flights booked with PC+ also get DSC?
Typically any fare that usually earns status credits will get the double status credits (subject to other rules, such as operated/marketed by qf etc)What about Flex fares that are 3% discounted on account of being a QBR level 1 member? Do they earn DSC if booked in the booking window?

DOUBLE digits but not credits...Not long to go and then we are on page 10
I don't expect further status extensions at this point. At some point QF has got to expect people to travel to retain status.Qantas publishes its half-year results next Thursday so perhaps it will be a repeat of in August when it announced at its full-year results status extensions and $50 vouchers for frequent flyers?
They already held a pretty reasonably priced international sale earlier this month no doubt to showcase good "forward bookings" to investors so who knows what is possible.
While true, Qantas will have a much better picture of how it is looking than we do. Next week we will find out if they feel they need to do anything.I don't expect further status extensions at this point. At some point QF has got to expect people to travel to retain status.
That's patently untrue, just look at Qantas. In the rare instances where they do make a mistake, they own up to it and put resources aside to fix it, be it the QF being unable to handle chock-a-block travel in the months after restrictions were lifted and the long customer support queues to the issues a small minority of QFF members face with their award bookings or the state of some of their domestic lounges at outstations like SYD. They will make it right!Exactly. No business does.
They will do it if they need to.
Period.
It’s literally that simple.
