And by far the stupidest country ....
Just spent 10 nights in Bali on a spectacular holiday - day 5 we meet the loveliest couple from London - laughed and joked around the pool all day with them - agreed to meet at Blue Ocean at 19:30 for dinner - we arrive 19:30 - he arrives 19:35 - SHE arrives 20:15 - sorry I am late I was 'on Spacebook with some old friends'! Her 'new' friends dodged her from that point on! Spacebook - give me a break!!!

She might have said the same about you. ;) "AFF, really!"
Just kidding Cruiser.

The old system was never a good one in the first place and this new system will not entice me back. I am happy at coles and probably saving considerable money on my weekly shop as well as earning FF points on my CC. Go jump, Woolies!

Re: Woolworths reviewing partnership with Qantas Frequent Flyer.

The new WOW leaves more than a little to be desired. It is built on the base of smoking mirrors which makes the whole scheme too complicated to even be bothered with. Since the new scheme started I have managed to accumulate $4.75 in my kitty. On that basis it could be another 3 months before I get my $10.00 off my grocery shop. I cant believe that anyone with a brain could come up with a scheme so complicated and unrewarding. Woollies appear to continue to dig a hole for themselves, one hopes that Roger can turn the place around and bring back some sanity. My first suggestion to Roger would be to move on their loyalty progam manager, go back to where they were and reduce their prices. They are getting to be very expensive with very little in return for loyalty

Smoking mirrors?

Re: Woolworths reviewing partnership with Qantas Frequent Flyer.

If by some miracle I happen to earn WWD 10 before the "convert WWD to QFFP" option comes in, is there a way I can prevent the WWD 10 from being automatically used at the cash register? Or should they ask me before using it and I'll just have to keep saying "no" until that conversion option is available?

Im hoping someone with more expertise on WOW knows this too!!
Only thing I can think of is stop using my card and use Mr Stoneman's and if his hits the $10 stop using his too, or when shopping do in less than $10 lots :-(

If you use the card, the $10 gets automatically deducted. I'm not aware of a way to change this.

Its only working because they are throwing WW Peso's at a few people.. wait til that dries up. The new scheme has too many flaws to see it survive, I mean something conjured up by Ingrid Maes just spells disaster..
Offers appear to have dried up but that could change again at any time.

Sorry Dr Ralph, it is educated decision with your set of circumstances only. There is plenty of evidence out there to suggest that not everyone saving money with the new WOW loyalty scheme. Overall the facts are not so clear.

To suggest these people aren't using factual evidence in their criticism of the program is failing to take into account the bigger picture.
We are doing quite well out of the new program. How long that will last is anyones guess but to date this program is better.

AFF and social media is but a small percentage of the real world. Most people that know me know that I have a stack of points and that I travel a lot. Hardly anyone asks for advice. Think about it. The reason is not because they are doing it better. The reason is they don't care about chasing points and travelling a lot. We are a very small minority.

I only received the WW$ for 3x $100 online spend, which I won't be taking up. I wouldn't be surprised if any loss-leading efforts are on hold while they rejig the QF agreement and rollout

Zero offers and a total of $2.93 earned so far... new program is doing wonders for my QFF account... but I'll probably achieve $10 by the time they implement the QF system again!

Did a shop at WOW the other day (I had a wish card I needed to use). Saw a few orange stickers but only on things I didn't need or want.

At the point of payment the screen said: total $106 and WW dollars earned $0.00 ! Wish card is depleted so why go back ?

My card and spend at Woolies is now in hibernation until the points offers start rolling in

Same here. The orange stickers don't do it for me. Out of a few rare shops I had one $10 Rewards win in the Woolies lottery. It's Coles shopping until we see the new QFF related scheme.

I had the same experience yesterday; $198 spent $0 WW dollars earned. I was only there to use the random $10 Reward they gave me last shop so it's over to Coles and Flybuys for me from now on.

One question I did have though - it says I've earned $0.79 WW dollars when I log into my account (from a spend last year) but when I go into details under My Activity it says that spend earned me $6.49 WW Dollars. Has anyone else seen discrepancies like that or have an explanation?

Other than the random $10 Reward I've never used any WW dollars and the reward was unrelated to points earned (the only points I've ever earned were the ones on the shop that claims I earned $6.49).
