Got put through to Australia. The rep personally. Assured me it would be sorted by cob

The two times I've had issues and got an Australian, they never followed up with a callback even after promising. Amex service is cough if they can't resolve it immediately.

my experince, if you get someone relatively senior or experienced, they will follow up, espeically if you take their name down, and make sure they know you are annoyed,

todays lady kept on apoligising , and even recommended everytime Ical lto ask to be put through to someone in australia ,. which is what Ive been doing recently

Not that I know of. For quite some time you've had to pay for postage for the physical cards.

well a follow up, because I was assured a COB solution, almost two weeeks ago, got a follow up that they were still working on it three days later,

today I called up since i had heard nothing, there were notes, and the aus guy who was nice enough started me asking questions from the start,
I got pretty annoyed, and he reckons, he would have to start an investigation again from scrtach and he needed to liase with 4 different departments ,

I got pretty angry and demanded a supervisor,

he said a supervisor call me back in 10 mins, and bang, called back in 10, said yep, i will adjust them manually,

I asked for a good will gessture, and bang 5k added on,

good outcome, but shouldnt have to come to this
 
In case you were wondering, there's nothing in the latest catalogue. So no new gift card offers :(
 
My local woolies is now no longer taking e-gift cards to pay for gift cards at the self serve checkouts too :( can anyone share via PM if their local is still working in sydney?
