My local woolies is now no longer taking e-gift cards to pay for gift cards at the self serve checkouts too can anyone share via PM if their local is still working in sydney?

Teased me by letting me choose the eGC option, only to say "items not allowed" after keying in the number. Knew it was coming but sad day nonetheless

Its like losing a loved one, devastating. Only hope now is if woolies do more giftcard promos on eftpos/only1s.

Hmmm. Just flew out and tried a local and it still worked.

But I guess it's inevitable.

That could be useful, I use Kogan for one of my daughters mobile when they do their periodic 1 year for ~ $200 offers. Some of the cheapest mobile plans around IMO for relatively data hungry users.

I can't tell you if it works all the time but it did work for me..

as of last night, 2 that I went to were fine, as of today, no go,

WOW group gift cards were withdrawn today pending new no expiry gift cards arriving.
Due to NSW legislation from March, all gift cards with an expiry period have to be removed by the end of this month.

I just bought a $100 DJ card with a couple of other items using eWish at a small manned checkout. The selfservice at the same store wasn't working for a Westfield Red yesterday.
