Woolworths gift card thread

From Wed August 30: 20x points on Ultimate Him & Eats, Hoyts, Airbnb, RedBalloon, Gourmet Traveller, Drummond Golf, Luxury Escapes and Swap Food Delivery cards (excluding Airbnb and Ultimate Eats variables).

Might need to look into this one. Our closest cinema is Hoyts and it is much more convenient for access and parking, and has a better in-cinema experience with very comfortable recliner seats when compared with the other major cinema chain. Just need to consider the alternate options for discounts - sometimes a "generic" gift card is more convenient and has less restrictions than discounted tickets through utility providers.

Certainly worth consideration.

Does these TCN bonus offers credit at the same time? I bought a $50 Him card last Friday, no bonus yet

Ok, so when buying these HIM and HER gift cards, just remind yourself you are getting the right one, so there is two types of HIM card, and naturally I got the wrong one. One is clothing specific apparently the other isn’t. I just thought that it was a newer ‘HIM’ card with a different front.

They still credited me the points as a gesture of goodwill however, thanks Woolworths :)

Any caps?
I have an upcoming $2k IKEA order I need to make, so 40k points potentially
You can only buy two variable load cards each day and they must be purchased in a single transaction so you'll have to either use two Everyday Rewards accounts or make two trips to Woolworths. The Ultimate Home cards can be used in-store at IKEA or you can swap them for IKEA's own gift cards on the Ultimate Gift Cards website. IKEA does not limit how many of its own gift cards you can use either online or in-store.

Bought 2x $100 swap and got the points at checkout.
Bought 2x variable $500 home cards and got the points for the first one at checkout, nothing for the second one.. guess will have to escalate in due time. Will go tomorrow to buy another 2x $500

Did you purchase both $500 cards in the same transaction?

All 4 in separate actually on the self serve. Wouldn't let me buy even 2 on the one transaction
The variable load cards are limited to one transaction per day:
For cards with a fixed value, limit of 5 cards per day per Rewards Member (can be done across multiple transactions). For variable card where you choose the amount to load, limit of 2 cards per day per Rewards Member in a single transaction.
If you call Everyday Rewards and tell them that you were forced to make two transactions for the variable load cards, they'll likely credit you the points as a one time "good will" gesture. If in-store staff incorrectly told you told you that you would still earn the bonus points on the second transaction, make sure to mention that as it'll strengthen your case.

Thanks will try. The checkout wouldn't let me proceed with more than 1 card in my "cart".

Bugger, I missed the one transaction bit and only remembered 2 per day. I'll be going again tomorrow for another 2x $500

If the checkout gives you any strife for adding two $500 cards, try loading the second one with $499. Often the limit is $1,000 so any amount under that should be okay.
Even the 2x $100 it complained about and I started with those
