Woolworths gift card thread

whats this about links that load the e-giftcard automatically in the email?
in my email, i get an xcel sheet with links to a pdf...

a new record for me : 4k of e-wish cards delivered in 2 hrs - ordered at 5pm EST and emailed at 7...usually took a whole day.
if you click the link in the excel file or the email, it would open the link in the woolworths money app and load the card number / pin automatically. I've only just figured out how to get it to work on my samsung note 5. On my iphone it was automatic

hmm thanks i'll try again
I am using a iphone, i can open up the excel file, and its got links, but they don't seem clickable
weird..

The woolworths global sim looks interesting but I think the vodafone red roaming still wins ? anyone have experience using woolworths global roaming sims?

Damn. None of these cards seem appealing to me...... I'm hooked on getting bargains!

Can't believe I missed out on the Only1 VISA offer. 65c for 870 QFF or $10 off your next shop is not bad, but you then have $100 to spend after the fact.

The current Myer one might be OK. $100 value for 870 QFF.

Can anyone confirm that I can use the Myer GC to pay for anything at Myer?

I have bought iTunes cards with them.

Don't think you can buy a coles-myer gift card at myer with a myer giftcard..staff are pretty well trained

Question now will be whether they also now amend the accounts of all who have bought more than 10 cards per WR account. Ok if you took the caskback up front. But if after the QFF points it may lead to some disappointment for some.

I was never concerned that they would take this course of action and can confirm that all expected WWR points transferred to my QFF account today. Thanks Woolies for my F class ticket to Bangkok that I will now book :)

Nerves of steel eh?

Personally whenever I have had large point runs either outside of the terms, or where the terms are not clear, I am always a bit nervous till the points are safely moved to another program. Particularly when one is audited on occasion such as I have been.

Do you have status with QF? I find the availability sucks big time for me if i want to book more than 1 ticket

Just bought some (9) Visa One GCs at Woolies Bondi Junction NSW and the self serve supervisor had to authorize (by logging in a username and password) every card I bought individually (bought 9). Has anyone had a similar experience recently? This is my first experience. Usually use self checkout 4 at a time with no intervention required. Wonder if this is yet another 'security' measure.
Buy too many in one go and you might test the goodwill of the operator on duty.

I bought 2x yesterday via self service - no intervention required by staff

I bought $1000 on thursday, no intervention required. The rule is no more than $500 per transaction. If you put 9 all in the same transaction then yes authorisation required

I put no more than 4 in to keep to the $500 limit to avoid intervention. It kept asking for manual intervention each time I scanned one and she needed to type in a login to clear it. Much more manually intensive than before. Going to try another store and report back if it happens again.

By chance was this after the total had already reached more than 4 cards? I found after $500 you had to have intervention with every additional card

Also, had you scanned your EDR card yet?
