Anyone have an update on the Visa 1 card issues?

Was at Woolies yesterday and picked up a card; was going to get a few more but decided to check with the brains trust first.

Picked up 50 yesterday.
Spent them all levels
No problems at all.
Checked the balance of ten of them. All good

My advice would be to use them soon after purchasing. That way if there is an issue you can return to the store where you purchased them from. I wont be stockpiling any more of these cards for the reasons I outlined earlier in the thread.

Shouldn't that be $529.75 less 5.55% = $500.35? Thus Visa1 cost is 35 cents?

but the current 5.55% off for me is good enough to warrant a stock up

% offers above 5 seem to oocur a number of times per year.

on another note, I purchased about 15 today at my 2 local shops, I accidentally swiped 5 and the young checkout guy couldnt swipe his card as it said supervisor required,
supervisor comes across and sees im holding 5, swipes the machine with her id, and then asks him, "has this guy been buying heaps", young kid replies, im not sure, then , the supervisor proceeds to stand behind me until ive finished the 4 cards and I walk off

I wonder what she would have done if she saw the 15 I had in my pocket

There are a few phone apps around for storing loyalty cards. I use Stocard and my wallet thanks me.

No WW points for any GCs. I avoid scanning my card unless there is a bonus point offer

I don't scan my WW card when I buy them. As Andye highlights, no WW Reward points on GCs and don't want to increase spend threshold for Bonus offers.
I store my cards in the CommBank app.

Either 4 or 5 max online. But what you could do is bring multiple in store and get them to combine smaller denominations.
