Woolworths gift card thread

The 5.7% cashback special has probably cuased a large spike in demand slowing down processing. They do it manually to try and minimise fraud.

Oh, and if a larger order in the past these have often taken longer than a small order for me. So if you odered a larger amount that may be a reason too.

So if I want an ecard quickly I limit that order to $1000.

Only ordered 1 x $423.80 (for obvious reasons). That's my usual order.

I wish I had an Amex Plat - 3 KF miles per dollar! Will have to settle for 1.5 QFF before Westpac Altitude Black devalues at the end of the month.

ive probably stepped into a DJ twice in my entire life,

is there a way to convert these DJ gift cards into something thats not DJ gift card or something that can be used elsewhere?

The answer is no. Unlike Myer which sells a form of cash (i.e. Coles-Myer gcs), DJs only sell DJ gcs plus overpriced furniture, clothes, glassware, etc. However they do price match. Last weekend we bought 7 * $50 gcs using the Amex deal and then pricematched a Dyson to the Good Guys price.

Thanks for sharing

Next time I have a big ticket electrical item that's sold at jbhiifi I might look into price matching

My 5k X2 came in an hour or two
So I think it all depends on your order history and patterbs
won't they send you an excel file when you order that many?

I keep it to 4x$500 so that they send pdfs and the money app works nicely.

The xls spread sheets work well with the app as well.

Click on the links in the xls file on fone and it auto loads into the money app. Much easier than opening PDFs :)

I bought a few more Visa 1's today but I seem to have mixed one up with my existing cards.

Long story, cut short: it is now saying it's invalid when I tried to use it (probably because I checked the balance within 24 hours). Will this fix itself after 24 hours? Do I go back to Woolies? Do I have to ring?

Thanks in advance.

Id wait 24 hrs and see what happens.

I experimented today a bit with 4 visa ones, bought them at midday and used them 2 hours later and they all worked fine.

it is still a clickable link in the body of the email and still loads directly into the money app. Just saves you from having to download the xls file and then clicking each link.

It is an attachment. So you open the xls file on your fone in your fav xls fone program

So I need to buy another AMEX 1k on cashrewards to break even on last 5.5% deal right? Was 6 cents a card....
