Woolworths Qantas card now offers 20,000 QFF [Ends 30/4/13] points

Got a phone call yesterday saying the 4K shortfall is being credited to my account. I'm not familiar with this card having just joined....should I be seeing the 4K points now (I'm not) in my points summary or would this only appear at the end of my next statement period?

My thinking would be that it would be on your next statement so will take a while to reach your QFF account..... From memory the bonus points always post with / at the end of the billing cycle, hence if your billing cycle ends on the 16th, the points should credit to QFF a day or two after this... However a "special" operator injection of points may be different and go straight to QFF direct

Also note, recently there has been a delay for some of at least 5 or 6 days for points to transfer to QFF at statement end

Just got my first statement today and what a surprise, only 16,000 points. Immediately called them and got two different explanations why - 1) not registering through Qantas link, but directly with Woolworths, 2) not being invited for the special. Both clear BS. They asked me to prove that I was offered 20,000 - I am providing screen shots. Told them if I don't get remaining points in 5 business days, I will be cancelling the card and asking for a full refund of the fee. And of course, also immediately used the 16,000 points... Let's see what will they do...

Same thing with me. Applied in April with the 20k link, only got credited with 16k.

It's only the middle of May. I'm surprised you've seen anything yet. I thought it takes 8-12 weeks.

See my post above -I applied on 22/4, got approved, received my first statement today and 16,000 instead of 20,000 have been in the statement and immediately appeared on QFF too.

Many here have had to chase the bonus points up, sadly on the monthly statement there is no way to easily reconcile the extra points (bonus points)

To give them credit, they called exactly as they promised and said that my account will be credited with further 4,000 points in the next statement.

Not sure, I didn't provide anything when I applied, and they just sent the card out in the post. Only had the card a few weeks.

My supp cardholder had to do that but I didn't have to do anything in person; all done online.

You're better off to scan you edr barcode to get 1 point per $1 then pay with you dj Amex and get 2.25 extra points per $1. 3.25 points per $1 in total.

Instead of DJ AMEX, I then use the Macquarie Visa Plat which - during its bonus phase - gives 5:1 earn rate.

Good only for 6 months from activation.

After that bonus period, I will be using DJ AMEX instead but would also keep using the WOW EDR CC regularly as well to sprinkle it with homely spending amongst the ATO hits.

Hmmmm only upto $10k though.
Still not too shabby - works out to 50,000 points.

Very pleased to see I got the 20K points transferred just after my very first statement was issued - didn't even have to wait 8-10 weeks or whatever is the norm!

I only received the 16,000 bonus points when entitled to the 20,000. Called them up and without too much hassle they are supposedly in the system to be credited next billing cycle.
