Double nothing is still nothing

That's true. And while I believe these "rewards" are as useless as the next AFFer, there is some opportunity here.

As we have seen, WOW are basically giving the savings from the normal sale price as reward $ rather than lowering the price the the Coles sale price.
If you get double $ then you may get quite a decent saving from certain items, assuming WOW don't try to dud everyone by halving the earn rate first.

The WW$ scheme is making the rewards schemes in Swiss supermarkets look a whole lot more attractive. For a standard rebate amounting to about 1% of spend, that's not something many people from other countries may conclude.

Yet another week of shopping with NOTHING earning WW$. The fuel discounts are something, but brand loyalty will end in the new year....

Interesting to read the WWR Facebook page, but the absence of a dislike button limited options for interaction!

Mr Natalie has just returned from WW. He spent $140 and got $2.80 in WW Rupiah. He also used the $30 gift card he received from the "spend $x each week" promotion so now we are free to shop around for the best deals.

Based on other accounts the $2.80 return for that amount seems like a better rate than others however it still might be useless if you don't get to redeem them.

2% ROI - he did relatively well :)

Cheers skip

Just got a double Wowmoney offer for the next 4wks. Click through however not showing as registered

As have I. I activated. The page that loaded seemed to confirm the activation. We did our shop today though, before I saw the email. 0.92WWRupiah earned today on a shop of $127.

I think I am going to be giving WWR feedback soon. It won't be pleasant.

where can we give them feedback? Just did another shop where absolutely nothing back in rewards dollars. Did get some good beer deals at BWS though :)

I still cannot fathom why they did not make it half a point per dollar over $30. Woolworths would still have a better offer than Coles and the cost would be halved.

Spent $157 yesterday at Woolies and received exactly 0.0 Woolies Pesos for my efforts (+127 QFF points).

Since this bogus scheme started my tally is 0.5 Pesos and I think that if I were to keep shopping at Woolies then I may crack the 10 Peso mark sometime around next July

Mine registered although offer a smidge less exciting than the 10K flybuys I was offered for doing my normal shop at Coles for 4 weeks

Double nothing is still nothing
Now don't be nasty. :p

Mum and dad shopped just over $200 on Friday and got ~$1.50 in Woolworths dollars. Not quite 1%. But if you include the $60 we spent on bitter lemon yesterday the discount is appalling.

Who in Woolworths was saying shoppers needed to wait ~3 months for instant $10 cash reward. Wow! Just wow!

At least they gave me a good laugh!

Just got the double WW$ offer"for four whole weeks"! WOW indeed!

As the wise man said, double nothing is still nothing!

I had my first winner at Woolies this evening. After several large shops with no orange tags, I dropped in to get 2 litres of milk as we were running out. The person before had left $1.95 in the coin tray. Go Woolies!

You know that there are an extensive array of cameras in that area don't you.
