mmmmm why didn't I notice this thread earlier? (I can't even claim that the Chinese Govt has blocked AFF.

I'm afraid a visit to see the new large metal cylinder does nothing for me!!!!!! I'm fed up with older ones this year.

I do take my hat of to QF though, great initiative to give AFF'ers an opportunity to see the 787. I am looking forward to the reports.

Its actually a plastic cylinder: (really composite)

Well done to Qantas and Red Roo to put this competition up! Looks like AFFers and FTers have benefited which is great to see.

Another is the button to dim and make the windows brighter. No more FA's asking everyone to raise there window shade for landing. It can be all controlled by FA's. It takes about 1and a half minutes to dim a window fully.
 
My shirt complements the colour scheme nicely I think. It would appear that channel Ten thought so too.

Just did a hot lap around the place (tall, fat, blue and white striped shirt) and couldnt see the tags :$
