Not a moment too soon!

Cathay Pacific's Wing First Class lounge reopens next week - Flights | hotels | frequent flyer | business class - Australian Business Traveller

The Wing has undergone an extensive refurbishment and now sports a new look designed by London-based architects Foster+Partners, in keeping with recent redevelopments of its Hong Kong siblings The WingBusiness Class lounge and The Cabin

Got a few flights through there in early march, looking forward to it.

Yet another reason to keep flying CX.

Conrad is indeed nice, but my budget may only extend to the mid tiers :( looking forward to the CX FL. Pity the EK tie up isnt done before Mar 29 as the Per QF lounge is shiet

Certainly a reason for me to fly on CX via HKG next time I go to the UK if QF is outside of budget.

You do realise once you fly CX... you will still meet your 3,600 sc but not the required 2,700 on QF metal. :) you will then be demanding a SM to CX DM

Not going to be even close to P1 this year so there isn't much loss for me. If I change job this year then dependent on that role I will be looking back at AAdvantage...

CX don't status match to DM (unless you're a CEO or Celeb) unfortunately, they would only give me SL for my WP :(

I'll have to test this out in March :)

It's usually a long walk from the gates that Qantas' uses, isn't it? :|

Guessing the Best FC lounge award is just around the corner:cool:

Very few lounges get me excited - this one is the exception to the rule!

I have a seven hour transit in Feb.
Was intending to go into town but I might now be tempted to hang around for a long lunch and a snooze.:)

Does sound good, saw this on FT (supposedly from the media invites):

1) The Onsen style Cabanas
2) The Haven A la Carte Menu
3) The Champagne Bar

Maybe an 8 minute brisk walk? Helps to walk off all the food and drink ;) It's worth it. Assuming the QF flight hasn't been gate-changed to the high 60s...

They don't, but they don't like it if you tell them you're leaving them for Qantas. My dad sent them an email after a few years of DM advising his DONE would get him QF WP, as he wasn't going to hit the mark with MPC. They comped him. Of course, he was there already, but at danger of losing it and they weren't going to let him go ;)

(looking at the AusBT tweets)

New cabanas look great.
The new red couches (?Chesterfield) look brilliant

While I like the idea of a larger Haven the chairs look a vit average.
