I have it as well. :( Can you recontract?

Sent from my iPhone using Aust Freq Fly app so please excuse the lack of links.

I swapped from Optus to Foxtel on Oct 13 - received email overnight and called Foxtel today - no chance for existing subscribers - don't you hate that?

I've had foxtel for bloody 7 years, so i dont really have a 24 months or 12 months contract with them anymore.

I'm tempted to cancel and sign up again, the footy season is over anyway so there isn't anything else on Foxtel thats worthwhile.

Very nice offer

Not sure you can do that and claim the points. I seem to recall a rather strict definition of new subscribers for things like this. I might be wrong though.

The A-League fan in me says you are so wrong

LOL ahh my apologies to the A-league fans.

well i dont think this offer has an expiry date... so i can cancel now and sign up again sometime next year. it is 30,000 points!! hehe

What a good offer. Shame I've had Foxtel for as long as I can remember.

Foxtel always seem to be the worst when it comes to rewarding existing customer loyalty.

No cable in our street so cannot connect to Foxtel.

Also English Premier League and NFL, and although not my cup of tea but some might also like The View or whatever that load of Kardashian coughpola they have on there... Anything to spare me from Free to Air!!! :)

But yes, just signed up in October, don't you just love it...

I tried to disconnect and sign up under my wife's name but they offered me almost half price for 6 months so I couldn't be bothered.

The EPL fan in me also says he is wrong. I need my regular high definition EPL fix. It is annoying that Foxtel constantly make attractive offers to new subscribers but offer no reward for loyalty. From discussions I have read on another forum some people have had success in obtaining discounts by ringing up and asking to cancel.

This offer is tempting as I don't have Foxtel.

I don't see the offer listed on their website.
