30000 bonus points - Foxtel

Just wondering if anyone has used this feature? I've moved to Canberra, and reconnected Foxtel. Gave them my Velocity number and they advised it would only take a few days for the points to appear in my account. Nearly a month later, and nothing. The Velocity Gold centre have been helpful and friendly, but apparently no one knows the process regarding the points being added to an account. I'm getting quite the run around here, and there doesn't seem to be any process in place to advise of how long it would take.

I had been advised that it may take up to 30 days to appear, but the lady I spoke to said that it would likely be sooner than that.

Anyone got any ideas? I've searched everywhere, but I can't seem to find a thing.

Foxtel always seem to be the worst when it comes to rewarding existing customer loyalty.

We just resigned with Foxtel, we made them sign us onto a new contract by threatening to cancel it if they didn't give us the new customer offer.

The words "cancel my account" seem to open doors these days.

Nice job… almost tempted to do the same with my dads account here… been with them since ~2001!!

Hmmm, interesting stuff. I'll take a look into this tomorrow.
 
I have no interested in getting Foxtel, but how quickly can I cancel in order to just get the points?
 
Should see if this stacks with the referring a friend and get a free flight to NZ for both. It's on Ozbargain.
 
joined over a month ago but as usual just like the shop and earn program they have not registered now will have to waste more of my time trying to get points i am owed

Hi MarkD I signed up on the 20th Jan and points were credited today.

Thanks for that, when I get a spare bit of time I will follow it up. At least we know it is happening
 
Did the disconnect than 10days later connect to get 30,000 points promo.

Points posted monday.
 
Na they posted automatic amazing, usually have to ring upend follow up the delay. 30,000 pts credited
