I've had flatulent squealing children in the row of seats in front of me , on the red-eye from Darwin to Brisbane. I found out that every time they went quiet, they had something else in store. Particularly noxious fumes.
Then the cycle would start again..

Would have been a hopeless trip for you but the kids probably had a great trip

You tried.

Actually I get the info about this from the Weather Bureau. ;)

Unfair of me. We wouldn't want to confront people with the realisation that the reality of truthful Tony does not match the pre-election sales pitch.

Still the silence is deafening around here.

What's worse?
1. Seat Back kicking kids?
2. Kids running around screaming in lounge?
3. Loud & obnoxious lounge guests?

I have had had all three today... I was enjoying the lounge serenity till they walked in..
I have never had 1 but the other 2 are not fun.

On triplej this morning, turtlemichael was mentioned as part of a quiz and the contestant correctly answered the question :p :p

Good to see the fanatics on either side have calmed down on AFF.

And yes this lot may not be that good but they are streets ahead of the lot we had before them.

There are no saints in either camp. I cannot trust any of them so I don't sit there idolising them.

Not as good. Hahahaha. That's the funniest thing I've read since I read about how a temporary [-]tax[/-] levy is not real.

They've now done everything they attacked in the last lot. They've also presented flimsy pathetic excuses over why a levy is not a tax. They're worse than the last lot in that regard. My position has always been that both sides are as bad as each other, only to be pilloried for daring to say that Abbott is not the saint the right wing nutters held him up to be. I feel your opening sentence is a continuation of those attacks.

Still a strong believer in the Rule of 3s.
Sister-in-law died of Multiple Myeloma 2 weeks ago and this week we learnt our 2 best friends from the Hunter Valley have been diagnosed with it.
So still a believer in do it while you can.

It's a public holiday here in Germany on Thursday, "May Day".

Same in China. The generosity of the government here in the workers' paradise knows no bounds: have Friday off as well then work Sunday to make up for it!
Public holidays here are truely hideous: literally hundreds of millions of people on the move. They have very little other time off work to go at any other time. Trains, planes and hotels all booked solid, roads jammed.

My like of your previous post drron is for the last sentence. We can't take it with us, enjoy it whilst we are here. Another insidious cancer :(

Personal favorite is Qingming Festival (tomb sweeping day) Qingming Festival - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There needs to be another option, doesn't there, something along the lines of "sympathise" or whatever.

I too believe in threes.

And a friend of mine in her late fifties died from a heart attack - she just didn't wake up one morning. There was a history of heart attacks in the family so she didnt drink alcohol, exercised, and was slim. It still took her.

Dont you hate it when you get that feeling you left something behind??

I feel the local council is going to get a blast.
Had some work on our watering system today and they found that the system in the small park outside our place is now connected to our system. It wasn't 2 years ago the fellow feels when he last changed some of our system.
Now we know why we have high water bills.

Wow. That is theft. Deliberate. Cranky much? :(
