Just broke the news to my husband that for his current year, Im going to drop him down to SG for a year, with the plan to take him back to WP after that.

Hes not happy but I dont see why we should pay to fly him to the UK in J when we have the points and its a soft fall to SG.

I said to him; This way, we can get the Waldorf in Edinburgh and you can have the Castle View room.

Which will make up for the Yurt/hut Im planning at Skye

Had my bi-monthly Uni meeting with my degree Supervisors today. As usual, a pleasant affair over lunch at the Staff Club and a decent bottle of wine. There was an eyebrow or two raised when I recounted certain destinations on my recent research trip, (such as Bermuda and Jamaica) but I think I successfully conveyed how I had risked life and limb in pursuit of my studies, in Jamaica.
