Train Strike doesn't affect Tube operations?
If not ... I guess Quickstatus may not be heading towards the centre of London (although would alternative buses be arranged?)
Not always. If he’s catching the Paddington express he’s going into central London

………. is departing SIN from C gates - WTF? In 23 yes traveling to/fro China with SQ NEVER have I dep C a gate - pre T3 construction of course it was E/G gates - and post T3 opening occasionally I have arr into C1 but never dep C gates.

Apparently some Reno work still going on in T2 so quite a few gates there not open - still this morn in lounge they were advising time from SKL T3 to Gate C34 could take 34mins - took me 10 mins to get to C22 but I do move like s gazelle

…….. are hotels who somehow are able to consistently present those small butter portions / sachets in rock hard state - FFS how you supposed to spread these? Yeah yeah I know - rest them on top toaster - hold them in your hand till they soften - you should not have to do this - pisses cheezes me off big time

……. are people who possess a superiority complex and use of the term ’bogans’ to describe fellow hard working salt of the earth Australians.

I seriously hate that - time for those that use that term to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror

My issue with the term is that it’s a Victorian term … we in NSW already had the term Westies, and I believe in Queensland they had Bevans … bloody Mexicans imposing their low-class slurs on everyone!

So Westies or Bevans are inferior?
Pretty much … change is Scary, Pauline Hanson knows what she’s talking about, all those forrenners taking our jobs, there’s nothing wrong with stealing some Fancy Pants person’s stuff, etc etc.

But, by the same token, if those little packs come out with the butter within turned practically to oil, I almost puke...

Not inferior but their behaviour can be appalling when they holiday overseas. You can pick them miles away.

Watch how they behave in Bali, coughet and other popular holiday spots.

Watch them when they enter the Qantas lounge in Singapore and Bangkok when Qantas had a lounge there.

Embarrassing.

It occurred to me this morning on the way to work that I should've said something like "yes, when they're nissed as a pewt and punching-on during the Jetstar flight home from Bali".

It was watching the pack of sulphur-crested whites ripping apart a large outdoor "LCD" billboard display for fun that made me think of that ... :) ... and one of these days I'll be posting in here about them destroying my pink grapefruit (with fewer smilies!!).

We picked up my brother in law from Royal Perth Hospital today - he is well on the way to recovery from a dose of pneumonia. And as happened every time and at all hospitals it is as though the hospital has never discharged a patient before. Meds taking forever to appear and then being 'lost', paperwork not being ready etc etc. It always seems like it is a surprise that patients may go home.

Glad to hear your brother in law was able to leave in better health.

This problem is across the board
I dont know the answer but i think it has to involve the use of apps. But then it needs someone to design one that can link into varius systems without having to duplicate data entry

Dischrge planning remains a very labour intensive manual task

Boarding time. Everyone’s ready.

VA Gate agents suddenly realise they have 2 wheelchair pax. Need to find them. Find them. They need chairs. Find chairs. Scan BPs. Some issue.

General boarding starts 15 mins late.

Any chance of the gate agents ( who on VA are not part of Cabin crew) might check for pax needing extra time BEFORE general boarding is due to start?

I hear VA is trying to improve on-time performance. I’ve got a suggestion …
