Was this a points UG/FASA or classic?
I booked a Classic Award though at the same time J and F ASA were available but the taxes/surcharges were like $250+ on top.
Was this a points UG/FASA or classic?
I have a 'supplementary question' for the house (forum) - hope that's ok.
Mrs'tork and I are taking toddler'tork J on QF31 to SIN (stay a few days) then on to LHR. Haven't bought toddler'tork a seat (will be 12 months old, won't sleep alone anyway).
Now, toddler'tork is a good natured little girl, but she's still only 12 months old = occasional crying, messy eating etc. I phoned QF and asked what seats would be best to be able to get up to carry her around and for us to cause the least disturbance to other J passengers. Was told 25J/K.
Leaving aside the question of whether babies/toddlers should be in J anyway (if this trip goes pear-shaped, I'll fly Y for the next 4 years and buy extra seats with the difference), is this reasonable? Has anyone got any suggestions? Other than to warn AFF forum members not to be in 24J/K on those particular flights?
Cheers,
'tork
What's Emerald City Serfty, besides the movie and the fact it's a nickname for Sydney?
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
I first heard the term [in relation to a QF 388] from a Flight Attendant while sitting in 80A preparing for a journey to LAX.
I know Sydney as Sin City!!!
Emerald city was coined in a David Williamson play?
New term with me re travel but as our NY friend has opined all WP seats!?
Makes sense, I like it.
Specifically the upper front cabin with those 18 Skybed Mk II's!Meaning the front end of any section? Rather than rows 11-13 on the A380?
There is a soft lighting ( blue/purple??) at the bar in front of 11A/B, it did not disturb me.
Unless you were having a few 'staffies', that would be 11J/K - the area forward of 11A/B is a mini galley and CSM's 'office'.There is a soft lighting ( blue/purple??) at the bar in front of 11A/B, it did not disturb me. ...

Is this to prevent the WP's shooting up during flight!!!!![]()
What on earth are you suggesting kind sir???
I thought it was in reference to The Wizard of Oz. I've always felt like Dorothy whenever I'm there

Also, Seattle is another Emerald City.

Any views on 11E versus 13E ??????
