Was there much damage caused by trees on Glynburn Rd?

As a child I loved the fact the trees shaded the road.

I'll check tomorrow. I didn't hear anything specific but the area from Waterfall Gully Road through as far as Magill was in the impact area.

Karma owes me.

This evening I helped push a broken down car out of a precarious position at traffic lights. Within a short time I developed lower back pain.

Firstly, thanks all for the brilliant posts in the last 24 hours or so. As you'll note, I "like"d a lot of them ;)

This is today's emergency service issue. View attachment 24306

I trust I won't be posting tomorrow

That looks quite rural!

My parents live in Adelaide...I was wondering why they haven't been online for the last 48 hours....rang this evening to find out....I should have read this thread as they have been without power the last 48 hours!! At least they borrowed a generator to keep both their fridges going!!

Never been a better time to get into the generator business! Or if you're Homer, the snow plough business ;)

I don't know about "damage" but there are certainly lots of trees down. Many businesses have been closed for the last 2 days because there is no power. I can only imagine how much money they have lost.

I drive along Glynburn Rd to and from work and even at 6pm there was still so much that needed doing.

The road I live on looks like a war zone.

anat0l now that your study/writing has eased off a bit don't you go to bed at a reasonable hour. 12:45am according to the previous time stamp.

Have a tub of cooking cream left from sister.

Any ideas on what to cook with it?
