Spot on, plus I think there is a benefit from having a date for the borders open as a threat to the unvaccinated; with the prospect of a surge in cases from inbound travellers, they’ll head out and get vaccinated
The whole point is that when there is a certain level of vaccination there wouldn’t be this circus of isolation and testing. We would agree that (like the flu) it poses a low risk to the broader community and we continue on with our lives
