Just stayed at Novotel BNE airport - early check in as requested. excellent staff assistance - no outside noise at all - lobby computers were down - no comp of drinks, internet etc

i second that- the demise of best flights have really put a dent in my dreams

Re: American Air Admirals Club 30 Day Membership yes, i was able to access the lounge at SYD international - BNE-SYD-LAX . at SYD just showed my print out - they ummmd but let me in. it is a membership and aa and qf have an agreement.

Re: American Air Admirals Club 30 Day Membership HI - when i bought it i nominated the date i was leaving Aust and then printed out the receipt - which i only needed for QF lounges here (and they quibbled) . the AA lounges just asked for my AA membership number and the membership showed up...

re: "oneworld" award (140K/280K/420K) Planning - The Definitive Thread sounds like a dream i used this myself and bused it to the city but i have heard the train is good if your hotel is close - but if you have to lug ports then door to door transfer may work out $ cheaper Airport...

i know it isn't 6wks but my DSC haven't posted for flights from 16 Jan and later yet. Usual SC posted not long after. seems strange that there is such a variance of postings. Don't suppose it is much use phoning on a weekend though is it?
