hi guys, thought i ask everyone what they thought of my options to get from ADL to SFO in May next year in J don't mind paying 1 J ticket but want to be able to redeem points for the other - so award availability is a main consideration - no status with any carrier so no benefits from status...

i'm moving on to the st george amplify signature - 0.75 KF pts/$1 with a 10% birthday bonus makes it an effective 0.825 KF pts/$1 with uncapped spend. unless i'm missing something this would appear to be the highest uncapped earn on the market at this time

thanks to everyone who has posted in reply to my original post we have finally booked - going the long way (i think) around but had SQ miles to burn and keen to try A350 J final itin is ADL-SIN-ARN-OSL-TOS , open jaw ARN-SIN-ADL back. staying 3 nights (still planning...) in ARN and 3 in TOS...

thanks for the info i've fixed this with by doing an open jaw for the return this solves the 6 sector issue also i don't need the stopover for the ARN stop as its the start of the open jaw now and with a round trip i can have the SIN stopover free all for 190k going ADL-ARN r/t would have...
