I was hinting along the lines that crew may need to have a new EBA first, allowing them to work the longer hours, SIN is a considerably longer flight than DPS/HKT, as far as I know the current aircraft were certified for international flying, it's carrying life rafts and other survival...

If I was you I'd leave the airport, go find a 4-5 star hotel, keep all your receipts and send Virgin the bill tomorrow. Works for me, I'd much rather be reimbursed later on and avoid the airport chaos.

Not quite. All the aircraft are certified to fly internationally. The (cabin) crew however, aren't.

I think Virgin's older brother (SQ) will not be happy with this. I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say that VA agreed not to fly into SIN when SQ purchased VA shares.

Oh hi Qantas people! Welcome to the purple side. One tip, manners. VA customers are generally polite and curious people. I've seen the way some elites at Qantas behave, and I sincerely hope that behavious stays with QF. Happy customers = Happy Crew = Happy Passengers
