I think there may be some confusion regarding standard travel bank and future flight credit travel bank. Standard travel bank (using velocity membership number as account number) should be able to be used with a discount code. Future flight credit travel bank is limited to certain fare buckets...

Currently onboard VH-YFY

I had something similar where my phone autocompleted my surname and the form failed. I realised the phone had inserted a space at the end of the name field. Removing this let me log in (really you'd think the site should strip starting/ending whitespace when validating for a good user experience).

Had wi-fi internet available on both VH-YFK and VH-YQR (travelling SYD-BNE-PER) last Friday.

Not that I can say for sure, but in my past experience as long as the PNR stays the same you will get the double status credits. Both of the scenarios you mentioned are changes which would keep the same PNR :)

Any Anyone know how to add an ABN after the initial booking?

Despite some snide remarks here, I think it probably was a legitimate call. I received this email on 2nd December, and was provided a $50 credit (which I've since used). I signed up to Business Flyer a while back (mostly just involved providing an ABN), but hadn't made any bookings using it.

I just chose a random date and flight SYD-MEL... At a brief skim through the results, there are plenty of flights with a business reward seat available. However, I haven't seen more than one business reward seat available per SYD-MEL flight for the few days I looked at.

Just before covid, SQ announced a fifth daily flight to PER. They currently only have 3 flights daily for the foreseeable future, so I think it's mostly a capacity problem - things are not back to pre-covid levels.
