Yes most of the demand was ex-Europe as QF2 was selling out as soon as QF announced the original flight commencement date of Dec 19th....QF2 is full for a few weeks well into January however I'm sure demand is not the same ex-LAX I haven't seen anyone from AFF post their experience yet so...

Sorry do not agree. No passenger is going to stay in one place or "keep within their same seating area" on international long haul flights from/to AUS. QF1/2 are full for the next several weeks so that is a lot of PAX flying 17hrs+ each way, all walking around stretching their legs, all queuing...

When you’re happy to squeeze 200+ people into a metal tube for a 17hr+ flight to LHR shoulder to shoulder then the whole notion of Covid safe / social distancing / sorry no snack bar / please don’t gather around the toilet goes out the window.

We are talking about Darwin right? Not sure I see myself holidaying there for 7, 12 and 17 days :rolleyes:

I imagine the bean counters at QF are seeing the surging demand along with AJ having to make up the lost billion $$$ somewhere - let's hope changes are minimal moving forward but I won't be surprised if QF pull out that 'we can make changes anytime' clause

Mine are not listed so I will contact QF and see if they will organise some backdated passes as I've never had access to them while being WP - this will be fun :cool:

Just read on another thread that as P1 you get 2 F lounge passes per year - is this correct? If so do you have to request as I have never received this benefit :rolleyes:

I booked SYD-LHR-SYD when the December flights were loaded by QF last month and the prices were fine. A few days later they began to escalate once LHR-SYD started booking up with returning Aussies. I rolled the dice believing things would change rapidly which they have ;)
