Yes, offer extended to 31 January 2014. Unless you don't want another mark on your credit file, why not? I don't see this kind of CC being offered anywhere else.

I was also not satisfied with them in the past, but this time I'm very happy with their service.

For me, I have to create a new login for the new card for the information of the new card to display
Think this is to do with the stupid Citibank internet banking

Yep creating a new log-in worked! Annoying but at least it works and I can now access my reward points :D

In terms of CitiBank customer service, I have found them great with the Platinum card and the same with the Signature card

I wonder if they'll do fee free on Select? Anyone tried that?

Is it possible to create another login for the same card? As in 2 log in for one card?

I've totally forgotten my username for my Signature.. this is probably because it's my 4 Citibank card in 3 years that I've had to create log-ins for!!!

Did it take 7 to 8 days for a reassessment, or just an ordinary application?

I can't speak for Shintaro, but my reassessment was received on 10/12. As of calling them yesterday, there was no decision. Today, the web page said conditionally approved - but it's citibank, so who knows?

I did try but sorry, no offer there.

The best they could offer was $350 annual fee - for ONE year only.

Now, I am happy with a fee-free Signature.

If the free hotel were still here, I would probably continue with the Select.

Ordinary application, but I'm actually surprised I was approved.... many times applied but as a sole trader was rejected... but this time all approved, I wonder why the change of mind* Also to date I have never spoken to anyone at citi, From reading here that's a good thing...!

*I have a feeling that the way I applied this time made it "just too hard" to do a complete review of my application, read this as I sent pages and pages of information.... Information overload he he

Called this morning, and still declined :(. I can't figure out why it would move from declined, to conditionally approved, to declined again.

Oh well.

Wife got her approval email yesterday. Self employed applied Xmas week.

I'm currently on Select and happy to stay there if I get a concession next renewal due to erosion of benefits on Select (points earn is still a drawcard). Otherwise will downgrade to Signature. Not confident there will be a free for life offer made to me at the time. Considering applying for a free for life signature as a backup then transfer my select credit limit to it.

Is Citi likely to give me a second card? I've got a high limit on Select not sure whether they'll give me another $15k min on signature. Interested in other peoples' experiences.

Self employed, applied yesterday. Sent ID this morning, accountant contacted, approved in less than 24 hours.

Maybe Citi have picked up their act!

Wow, that is very lucky, did you put additional income sources or investment properties or the likes? Wish mine got accepted and that quick as well. what sort of income proof did you send in?

When I check the application status online, it now says conditionally approved, where as previously it said declined.

They confirmed receipt of my re-assessment on 10/12, and after calling a few times since then, was only told "it was being processed".

I'm hoping it will finally get approved...
How did you get a re-assessment done, did you just call up and ask for one?

Actually im still surprised I got approved. In the past it was nearly impossible for me as a sole trader to get this card. Saying this though I dont have it yet, but the all important approved email came yesterday. Applied hust after new years day.

I put salary plus company dividends (under-declared). Sent ID, they called the accountant to confirm this morning, showed approved online this afternoon. No income proof sent.

Aplied Monday, approved yesterday.

Currently have Commbank Diamond Awards on no annual fee too due to upgrades over the years and wealth package, however thought this might come in handy down the track.

Wonder what their other products are like - might consider moving some other stuff across to Citi if it's attractive...

they're not attractive, aside from Citibank Plus being the only useful overseas debit card in Australia, and Select if you spend >> $100 000 on Visa a year.

Their 4.79% variable home loan looked decent. And like rweir stated, their plus bank account is good if you travel a lot.

Just get your wife as supplementary card holder of Signature card. Register both primary card and supplementary card holders to Priority Pass. It worked for both of us 2 days ago. Got email confirmation for both. Now just waiting to see they will send both PP cards to us :D

Just wondering edison if you (or anyone else) know whether this worked and you received a card? I was hoping to make Mrs G the priority pass member but she is the supp card holder.
