Just checking if a married couple have a Sig card each can they request Sup card for each other and get it?
Then get another priority card for each of the sup cards?

Edit: So family member applied for SUP card for their partner. Shortly after the person that had SUP card applied for, wanted their own card and applied for their own SIG card.
The Sup card has come thru(they thought it was their own Sig card). They activated card and understood from Citi it was their own card but actually is a SUP card.
Citibank keep calling and only after me enquiring about Priority Pass, have they realised it it not their own Sig card.
Therefore they are contacting Citi to see if their own Sig card has been approved after all documentation sent and accountant number provided.

1. Can they have their own SIG card and have a Sup card from partner? UPDATE: Phoned them and sending out own card(so looks like Yes)
2. Will this result in 2x Priority pass cards if possible?
3. Can you use the same activation code for PRimary and Sup card for Priority pass?

Citi I believe have broken through new ground\territory in Confusing the customer!

This is going to be fun...called up last month asking them to change me to fee free for life and they said they've done it. I also got them to credit last year's fee and sure enough, no problems. Now I haven't seen that popped up in my account so there's gonna be yet another call or three to sort this out.

Wow - Now I understand the general consensus of people to avoid ringing Citibank at all costs!

I applied for a few additional cardholders for my Mum and the +1

However, I put down my postal address as I assumed that would mean the card would come directly to me. Of course, at some stage the lovely Government introduced new laws that require ID to be provided for addiontal cardholders that need to be verified at the Post Office (or a Justice of the Peace, for an Amex card) Both options are annoying!

That aside the ID Verification documents for Citibank arrived and they had my postal address along with the new card holders name. Upon reading the document the ID that the additional cardholders would need to provide would need to match the ID Verification document, which of course they do not!

So I rang CitiBank and that's where the fun started.

No less than 20 phone calls required and so many different things that needed to be completed etc etc

1. Cancel application and re-apply.
2. Cancel application and re-apply but it will decline as the first application was cancelled
3. Simply fill out an ID form from the CitiBank website and take to the post office - Which is ONLY for totally new card-holders
4. Transferred 3 times to the "Verification team" who rudely then transferred me back to customer service as they claimed they only dealt with brand new cards.
5. After getting the direct number to the above team, I was hung up on 4 times as the reps didn't want to help me
6. Systems down call back later
7. Systems down we will call you back later - Never happened
8. On-hold for 20 mins, while a rep claimed to fix up the address, then she hung up on me
9. We can update the addresses fro you, but before we can send the new Id Verification Letter we need a current copy of the additional card-holders ID to be emailed/faxed to us
9. Final phone call - Took well over 1 hour, rep claimed to modify my applications and that I would receive new forms with the correct addresses in the next 5-7 days, CitiBank is always slow at posting things out

So I am now waiting for new forms to come out with the address that will match the additional cardholders ID

I am far from holding my breath and the moral of the story!

If you are going to apply for additional cardholders, ENSURE that you put the address that will be listed on their ID/Bank statements and not your OWN address (if they do not live with you etc)

Phew

Wow so much trouble.
My missus is the primary cardholder, and i asked her to apply for supp card for me, told her to do it over the phone as I wanted her to double check it is free (only have plat card and normally there is a fee for supp cards). She applied for supp card over the phone, no I.d. verification needed to be done in person or what not. I assume she just told them my name and address over the phone. Guess Citibank lives up to its reputation of being so random with applications and hardly consistent.

shockingly, this obvious loophole won't work, since no credit card providers accepts bpay from a credit card for card repayments.

Not true, there is at least one. I pay one of my platinum credit cards by Bpay from a platinum MasterCard held with another bank. I think it's a loophole as there is only one card I can pay this way. When I get my Signature card I will give it a try and see if the loophole is bank specific.

And hopefully report back something positive.

i have had several PMs regarding my earlier post. Happy to share with established members, just not on an open post for all and sundry to see.

I would be happy to get a PM, I think I started this discussion a few posts back.

Time for me to churn a few cards over so I've applied for this although the offer I get is 60k Citibank or QFF points and $295 annual fee for life.

Dealing with Citibank so far remind me what a PITA they can be, although the prize for that has to go to Macquarie Bank. Citi have a script and a checklist and if you give them anything which isn't in either, they can't cope.

Anyway, my question to anyone who has received their card is do you have the opportunity to nominate QFF points when you receive the card? I couldn't select anything other than citi rewards in the online application.

You call to opt in.

As the above poster mention you do call citi.

To add a bit more, there is a fee of $49pa and the points are then automatically credited to QFF.
Because I don't need any more QFF points just yet I am leaving mine with citi to broaden my options.
I can always transfer to QFF later if need be.
Best not to lock in IMHO.

Don't think so, you can switch, but won't be able to transfer existing points to QFF

Seems to be some confusion/misunderstanding here.

Perhaps a good idea to call Citi and check. My understanding was you could take the QFF option later, although that would then lock you in, but didn't think that previous points could not be transferred to QFF.

Maybe somebody has a definite answer .
