Just wondering edison if you (or anyone else) know whether this worked and you received a card? I was hoping to make Mrs G the priority pass member but she is the supp card holder.

Yes it definitely worked and we received both PP cards without issues.

Brilliant, thanks.

Does the PP card come automatically with the Signature or are there more forms to fill out for it?

Received card welcome pack today and to be honest im very surprised of the limit they have given me. Takes my collective card limits to nearlly 70 percent of my taxable income. With the citi card limit more than any other card I have. From finding this card hard to get in the past, now they are letting the ropes go and giving me quite a large limit... not sure if I should call up and reduce it a little :what:

It is never necessary to call Citibank unless you are transferring points to Kris Flyer or Virgin. Otherwise do not bother them.

Today I received an email from Citi... "thank you for your patience" when we took so long to approve your application - 2500 bonus reward points. I wasn't in a hurry anyway but do appreciate the gesture.

I don't even call them then - I do that online (unless there's some limit .. I never transfer as many as you cove, unfortunately).

The code did not look too unique to me. Could share the codes or gift to someone else?

Correct

The PP code is not unique to you.

My and Mrs' are the same: two different accounts.

I guess it is linked to Signature as on the PP page, the first 6 digits of the CC are pre-filled for you.

Interestingly I just received an email from citibank affering me 2.5k bonus points because they farted around with my application for too long, unsure whether this is going out to everyone, or just certain people who took awhile (FYI, my application took 3 weeks to get to unconditional approval)

edit: Just checked, no points creditted to my account yet. The body of the email does say to allow till 10th of Feb.

My understanding is that the Signature card credits points for bpay. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Assuming that it does, has anybody tried paying another credit card using bpay with the Signature card and picked up a few points along the way ?

shockingly, this obvious loophole won't work, since no credit card providers accepts bpay from a credit card for card repayments.

BPay billers have the option of whether to allow payments from credit accounts or not. The biller codes for paying of your CC have it set to not allow payment from other credit accounts for obvious reasons.

Wow!
Two weeks ago I thought I had my final call from Citibank asking about salary info etc. The guy on the phone seemed to indicate that everything was fine and then asked to see that I was happy to approve myself for the card? Basically saying did I still want the card or not. So I said yes and he told me they would put the card in the mail for me.

Then today I get another email from them asking for a signed copy of my employment contract.. sigh

Wow - Now I understand the general consensus of people to avoid ringing Citibank at all costs!

I applied for a few additional cardholders for my Mum and the +1

However, I put down my postal address as I assumed that would mean the card would come directly to me. Of course, at some stage the lovely Government introduced new laws that require ID to be provided for addiontal cardholders that need to be verified at the Post Office (or a Justice of the Peace, for an Amex card) Both options are annoying!

That aside the ID Verification documents for Citibank arrived and they had my postal address along with the new card holders name. Upon reading the document the ID that the additional cardholders would need to provide would need to match the ID Verification document, which of course they do not!

So I rang CitiBank and that's where the fun started.

No less than 20 phone calls required and so many different things that needed to be completed etc etc

1. Cancel application and re-apply.
2. Cancel application and re-apply but it will decline as the first application was cancelled
3. Simply fill out an ID form from the CitiBank website and take to the post office - Which is ONLY for totally new card-holders
4. Transferred 3 times to the "Verification team" who rudely then transferred me back to customer service as they claimed they only dealt with brand new cards.
5. After getting the direct number to the above team, I was hung up on 4 times as the reps didn't want to help me
6. Systems down call back later
7. Systems down we will call you back later - Never happened
8. On-hold for 20 mins, while a rep claimed to fix up the address, then she hung up on me
9. We can update the addresses fro you, but before we can send the new Id Verification Letter we need a current copy of the additional card-holders ID to be emailed/faxed to us
9. Final phone call - Took well over 1 hour, rep claimed to modify my applications and that I would receive new forms with the correct addresses in the next 5-7 days, CitiBank is always slow at posting things out

So I am now waiting for new forms to come out with the address that will match the additional cardholders ID

I am far from holding my breath and the moral of the story!

If you are going to apply for additional cardholders, ENSURE that you put the address that will be listed on their ID/Bank statements and not your OWN address (if they do not live with you etc)

Phew
