I usually go to Coles/Woolies/Aldi about 3-5 times a week and a bottle shop about twice a week.
A quick check of my pre-promotion shopping patterns would show that I (or Mrs NM with a supp card) visit one of the major supermarkets at least 5 times a week, sometimes more. And today is not going to be any different - once we decide what we want for dinner tonight. Some people do a weekly shop, some do more frequent shops. Some go to Coles on the way home and buy a chicken and salad for dinner.

Agree, and also, some ppl go to coles after work buy small things by CASH before promo, now they use AMEX.
How does this sounds to you AMEX?
I wish Aldi takes AMEX. I used to do 80% of my groceries at Aldi, and the remaining 20% at Coles (as Aldi doesn't have everything we need).

Since the promo, 100% of my groceries come from Coles/Woolies for obvious reasons
I duno. Coffee yes, but coles every day? Yes it's legit you don't want to buy it all at once, but will amex get desperate and say that yes you should have it
all at once? You can buy $5 milk/veg/etc every day but can also buy it once on the wkend like b4 the promo.
The vague 'spirit' of the program may say this is bad.
No so easy in OSX

How much additional are you paying for your shopping by switching to Coles/Woolies? It must quite an amount. Unless you have switched to lots of transactions at C/W then surely the margin benefit must be less than the additional cost of shopping at C/W?
Funny how this promo is making us check our MR transactions daily now to see what has posted - I'm only on 12 up to this mornings posting.simongr said:Identified 21 transactions for October already
anyone know if iTunes is counted as an Aussie transaction and is therefore included ? It shows up as:
ITUNES MUSIC STORE SINGAPORE AUSTRALIA
I didnt think it would. as earlier posted in this thread, however on the 21st of September $3.60 was billed from Itunes (as per above billing note) and 4 MR points were awarded, and it counted in that batch of 5 transactions for 5000 bonus points
