I only had transactions up to the 17th until about 1 hour ago, now I have one transaction on the 18th appear. The other few transactions from that day are not appearing yet.

Of note - Tipping in restaurants is helpful, as that amount is procesed seperately to the main total An easy way to get 2 transactions from one meal without splitting the bill or doing silly things!

There are three of us now (you, myself and nlagalle) that are in the same boat here (transactions from beyond 17th September not showing. I wonder if it's systemic or limited to a subset of customers.

Mine has updated some of it.. 17th it has added only.. still waiting for the 18th. had 5,000 points tucked in there though, but not sure which promo!

Shame that so far in Sep I have over 250 transactions, I don't much alot more to purchase this month and need to pay off all the other stuff first :shock:

I just logged into Amex website again. Looks like I got my bonus points now

- 5000 Membership Rewards Bonus Points05,000

In fact, I have 3 of them .... so far 15000 points for me!

You are absolutely right on this one. Now I make sure I tip something when going to restaurants ..... It does come as separate transaction

Also if you start drinks at the bar, usually the bar likes the bill settled before you sit to dinner!

Just thought id chime in... I rang up this morning and didnt get told that the offer was over or anything and i was registered for the MYREWARD bonus. Secondly, i also have no transactions from the 17th of Sept so im assuming that they will be there tommorow or monday, oh the agony of the wait!

I think this offer has definitely had the desired effect from Amex's perspective, in that it gets a LOT of people talking about them, and a LOT of people walking out on merchants if they don't accept Amex. I know I do, and in the past I would just go to the ATM to get cash, or pay with a MC. Granted, it is probably going to cost a fair amount of points, some perhaps not transferred to Qantas, and instead used for redemtions with partners, which I'm sure are also profitable to Amex.
Good on them, it certainly makes people use their cards in preference to ANYTHING else.

There seems to be a little lag time of up to 2-3 days between entries appearing on the account statement on the website and your Membership Rewards statement on the website. But it is still updating, and has twice for me now since I signed up to the promotion on the 17th.

I have had no MR transactions appear since 17 Sep. I have had 7 financial transactions hit the card (including our Doctor who I note takes Amex - which we hadnt done before - good work mrssimongr).

I will check again tomorrow and Monday - if no points and no bonus then I shall give Amex a call.
