I've always had points post on a Saturday, then nothing sunday, and Monday's always tend to be latish.. but then lately points have been all over the shop...

Just got mine credited after midday today. All points from mid October to December 31st. Don't know if it was because I told the CSR I was going to the BFSO on Monday, or not.

Because the points come from the US, there's a time lag in dates so the Nov & Dec bonii will be allocated tonight and should be on the screen by Monday at the latest. [this is very different to some posts about Dec bonii being paid in mid March]

I also have also been told previously that the MR server is US based and hence Friday USA time would be Saturday AUS time.

No new bonus points for me - although it is early on a Saturday morning now. I'll check again tomorrow - it's just not work checking again through the day. I might be wrong, but I don't hold out much faith that Amex will pay out the rest of the points that they owe me today.

Better find out what that BFSO case is up to.

Surprise, surprise! Bonus points have not posted by 31 January. The paranoia thickens....

- Velocity has a 25% bonus promo starting 1st Feb.

And it has nothing to do with the bonus points from this promotion. There will be more Velocity promotions very soon that may offer 50% bonus points or more. Hang on to your Amex points and don't transfer them too early.

I spoke to service rep last night and they told me the marketing team had sent the reps a bulletin to advise all callers their points will be posted by Jan 31st.The advice I was given is that if nothing happens by the 31st, call back and ask for a 'marketing escalation', as the rep didn't feel confident the MR team would manually complete the backlog in time. Even their staff don't believe it....ouch! :shock:

Seems as though there is going to be a bit of 'marketing escalation' going on!

Yep... there's four hours left of January 31st, but I'm not too hopeful... I'll put a formal complaint to Amex on Monday, as it sounds like I need to do this before lodging a complaint with BFSO.

Given that I can't see how Amex can avoid (eventually) paying the bonus points, their handling of this promo is appalling. Must be eroding a lot of goodwill and loyalty - it's only the fact that I get 1.5 pt per $ on normal transactions and have never had any complaints in my 10+ year relationship that I'm not cancelling my card...

I've got zilch bonus points today - apart from my other spend points balance has been stagnant for a long time.

If they don't come in mid-next week I'd be a smidge concerned. I don't like the idea of barking up Ombudsmen and small claims courts (and I never have before), but.........

If you mean Sept or Oct bonuses were stagnant/unawarded, MR's rep said on Friday she found unawarded bonuses that should've been awarded on 31 December. She's asked 'the back room' to check (= more uncertainty and delays). It might be worthwhile asking them where they put them.
