Just got off the phone from MR as I'm still owed all points for October and December. They had me down as having received all points so are now contacting the mysterious "back office" to request they look at missing points. Might be worth other people who are still missing points to follow up now.

Hey baz,

Would you happen to have the phone number? I'm in the same situation and seems like calling them is the best option atm.

Cheers.

02 9271 4767 is the number I was given whilst my Exec Services guy is off on holiday. (I hope he used his own points;))

Complain to fos too imo - too many are getting this 'gee, we paid everyone else for [insert month]".

Success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):)

My letter came today and I am back in.

Amex replied that have reviewed my detailed reply to their last letter and also also their records......and that I will be awarded all bonus points that I have earned. :)

Further all points owing will be awarded in the next two-three weeks :lol:

And that will be a large amount...for I have earnt more than any amount I have yet seen posted.

I'm intrigued as to whether I've got a letter now - must head to the post office box now.

I'm really intrigued as to who is going to be the leader on the board in terms of most points awarded. We might have to do a "Top 10 leaderboard" in a few weeks when everyone (hopefully) has been paid in points!

Very happy for you and hopefully others will have good news soon.
There is no way we are in the first 10%, probably not in the first 20%, but we are happy little vegemites all the same.

Got a laugh out of Amex today. They sent me 2 letters - the first plugging the Velocity bonus, and the second inviting me to upgrade to a credit card I already have?

Thanks Amex!

Congratulations,
It does feel good doesn't it.
Like I said our points were already credited before we received the letter, so it was nice not having to wait, but it wouldn't hae mattered how long it took, I was more worried about being suspended from the whole rewards program.

Ask for a formal reconciliation of the points as they offered that to me rather than asking for a catch up.

Congrats Loves.

I sure hope you bought Beroocca to go with those $1 bottles of champagne:D

Still..I should not count my chickens till they have hatched.

Hopefully I can report within 3 weeks that all of my points have posted.

So with all of our bonuses who is considering a charitable donation in light of the bush fires? 120K points would be $1000 to the Smith family

The donation is on your behalf so I assume tax deductible. I would prefer a system where the charity could gross up the donation and get the tax like they have done in the UK at times.

I would rather donate $1000 straight in cash and keep the 120K points. At least there will be no confusion on tax deductibility. Not to mention that Smith can use it straight away. Also 120K points is worth a lot more than $1000 if used correctly.

Oh yes, that $1000 in cash would earn you credit card points as well.

Is my preference as well. Same with raffles etc, I would rather give them the 2/5/10 dollars and take the tax dedcution than take a chance on winning a hamper/car/whatever
